I think that goes for other higher performance vehicles as well, probably to a lesser extent than a motorcycle though. Driving to work is a joy, and so is driving home. Hell, driving everywhere is awesome. Get a manual transmission, learn how to drive it, get just a bit of power, and you'll be much happier than before. I fucking promise you. To be fair it's written for a female audience. I think we need to examine it from a factual perspective, if this was a gender neutral article would this match up to some real reasons for why people of both genders cheat? The quips at the end are just a style, and the gender is for the target audience. I don't think this is an issue for mens rights unless it's not factual. There are plenty of words that could describe 'micro-aggression' though, 'attitude', 'snark', 'spite' etc. My problem with it is that it escalates the seriousness of what it's applied to by having the word aggression in it. like calling a poke 'micro-assault'. Agreed, though it should be treated with similar seriousness (sexual assault, attempted murder in cases of grabbing, the man in china who died from having his balls gripped comes to mind). I think it highlights gender stereotypes in that it's assumed to be the woman in the submissive role due to her gender and not her personality. Using same sex examples illustrates that it's not gender but personality that must be taken into account. It's an over-simplification, each case needs to be examined individually; there is no catch all solution when it comes to people.

This is very good question I think, and for the record I think the ideal would be some form of leave for both parents when a child is born. To continue the devils advocate line though, why is it that you get paternity leave instead of for example saving up vacation days (Retarded yes, but why)? I think perceived persecution is a huge factor in things like this, if a person with a strong belief such as feminism is shown a contradiction and they feel they've disproved it to their satisfaction they'll have defended their beliefs from an enemy, making their conviction all the more strong. It would make alot of sense for this type of behaviour to be prevalent in any area where there is a mirror of ideology, politics, feminism, religions, etc.
