“Yeah of course we can do anal! You can even pick the strap on if you want!”

I’ve been attracting almost exclusively nerdy guys since I was in high school. They’re the worst. So many red flags. They make you feel guilty if you don’t want to go out with them because “we have such a great connection” or “I’ve never met a girl like you before.” They know how to use compliments that will appeal to nerdy women (intelligence > appearance) and use that to their advantage. They want to make us feel special so that we’ll give them what they want. They want commitment right away, …

Politicians, clinical psychologists, trimmers, dealers, and “freelancers” or “entrepreneurs.”

Exactly. Good luck calling the cops on your abusive boyfriend when he’s one of them.

I have to walk past two construction sites to get from my flat to university, easily the most uncomfortable part of my day. Just the way they look at me feels so invasive. I definitely second men who work for their parents. 99% of the time they have no actual responsibility. They just say that they “work” for their parents to justify where all that free money is coming from.

For some people, it’s really excellent. It’s a very individual thing. I’ve heard stories of heaven and hell for every birth control out there. It just depends on the person. I’m glad it helped you though.

There’s an added bonus to always insisting on condom use, you weed out the assholes who are too selfish to use one. If we’re not having sex on my terms, we’re not having sex. Period.

This is so fucking awful. Birth control symptoms can be HELL. When I was on it for PCOS, I threw up literally every night for weeks, had multiple panic attacks, and constant debilitating headaches. (Of course my male doctor wouldn’t change my dose because “this is just something some women go through on the pill.”) How god damn selfish do you have to be to force someone you claim to love to go through mental and physical anguish just so you can get your dick wet without a condom? What made me ev…

I agree, I’d rather have a man put time, thought, and effort into the date than spend a lot of money. I know those things go hand in hand quite often. But if given the choice between a date that catered to my interests and clearly took effort to plan, and a date that was expensive but generic, I’d take the first. Money isn’t the only way for men to show their seriousness towards you.

If he won’t even talk to you in person about something as simple as a bill, imagine what he might be too avoidant to discuss in the future.

Dates were pretty commonplace when I was in high school too, but it was mostly people asking other people to lunch. That's a pretty good way to interact with the opposite sex. Plus, you have an out so if it sucks, at least you're only stuck there until lunch ends

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
