Things can be two kinds of bigoted at once. Obviously. The whole argument that men paying for dates being classism, not misandry, could apply to a lot of feminist talking points, like the wage gap. A woman from a rich family could handle it, a woman from a poor family could not. By that logic, the gender pay gap is not misogynistic but instead classist. Same could be said for women being abused, arguably that would be worse for disabled women, therefore it’s ableism. Most forms of bigotry inters…

“And I say this as an Indian woman, now what?” Well, now you’re a misandrist AND a self-loathing racist.

Trans men have always had a target on their backs from these types. I think it’s because that once someone lives as a woman, and then transitions to living as a man, misandry is practically undeniable. 4 is so insanely stupid. Nobody is saying that misogyny doesn't exist or we shouldn't do anything about it, a better equivalency would be if people of color just started attacking and enslaving random white people because of what happened in the past. That would be a fucking insane way of handling it! You can fix systemic issues without putting down and harming people who didn't actually do anything wrong, other than just being born a certain way. This eye-for-an-eye sort of 'justice' falls apar…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
