They're pretty shallow reasons, sounds like those guys don't take their marriages very seriously

Exactly why I was so pleasantly surprised to see (SPOILERS) the all-macho male Expendables of Westeros heading out at the end of this week's episode

I noticed the subreddit this was posted in after I had read the post title. It was like some sort of punchline.

There's a pretty good shitshow going on in the comments section though. Check it out if you want to get your rage on at Thoreauvian.

I've never heard of MGTOW until I saw your comment. I just spent the better part of two hours on that sub. Damn. It's a concept that's super easy to belittle and make fun of, but if you actually think about what they're saying they make a lot of good points.

Oh shit, do you know Dom?? Guy's my fucking hero dude, I doscovered him when he had 2 broscience videos out. 2. Cue hipster before-he-was-cool comment. Seriously though, you can tell he's intelligent. No way he could consistently come up with solid puns/jokes/references/satire if he wasn't.

On a side note, I have a friend in advertising, and I asked him why so much of that stereotype exists. He basically said, "'Smart wife/dumb husband' is really the only joke that's allowed anymore. Well there it is.

Excellent-this is exactly what MRA and Feminists need to see more of in order for us to all realize we're fighting the same battle (or should be). Well done!

Ex-ACTLY. Even in her Facebook post: "You don't realize that I'm going to change the world"...yeah, you really sound like a humble team player -_-

Because it's immensely time-saving to take the source of an argument into consideration when weighing its merit. As an extreme example, say a study was published in a peer-reviewed journal, and say some mutually exclusive information was released on the Infowars website. Are you going to spend hours Googling around until you're able to fact-check every claim made by both parties? Probably not-you're going to roll your eyes at Infowars and trust the journal. The argument put forth by Christina Ho…

Funny, but my point was more that this is clearly coming from a heavily biased group of people so maybe we shouldn't take it at face value..healthy skepticism.

I'm new to Christina Hoff Sommers, and this video seemed to be extremely well-thought out. However, I Googled Prager University and looked through some of their other YT videos, and it became clear that it's an overtly conservative university. Looking at other overtly conservative media figures (Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, etc.), it makes me a little wary that this video may not be the most trustworthy piece of information out there. CMV?
