Dude it takes time. ALOT of time. My ex and I broke up more than 2 years ago and it still stings some nights, but not nearly as often do I think about her. Go out and sloop a bird

Reading this I began to hate you because you’re right. I’ve neglected social media for years (25M) and it does not reflect my life in person

Dude I really appreciate the thought you put into this post. I live in Towson btw - so Tampa sounds great, what are your thoughts on St Pete? Or 100% Tampa? Any part of Tampa or sub town? Fun fact I was born in Tampa

Yep she had BPD. Found out a few months before we broke up. But my brain is still slightly attached to her and it's been over a year.

Bro sounds so similar to my last relationship. We fucked the first date, bad relationship with parents, emotionally all over the place. But damn the highs were just as extreme as the lows, and there were a great deal more lows than highs.

So I read an interesting article that explained how being single is fairly neutral to baseline happiness, and studies showed that being married would make you either extremely satisfied or extremely dissatisfied with life. So imagine 3 guys standing on separate stairs on a staircase. One guy is at the top (happily married), one guy is at the bottom (unhappily married), and the last guy is in the middle, (single).

Incredible. I can definitely relate to you but am early on my journey. I have been to 25 countries (mostly solo backpacking) and that’s how I developed my confidence and ability to connect with people. I am currently building a real estate investment company and all I want to do is focus on that and get it to the point to where I can quit my full time job. To your point, the same night I got with her, the bartender and I got in a 30 minute convo about real estate - it was clear I was passionate …

All great points. She really wanted to fork me when we were in high school (we dated for a week) but I wanted to wait until marriage, HA! I agree that being vague does come off deceptive... to your point I’ll have to create a role for me in her sexual fantasy

Thanks so much man

So well said. I think I handled it fairly well and kept telling myself that less is more. I hung out with her maybe, a month ago? Nothing sexual involved until Sunday and we’ve snapped once or twice since then. Do you recommend how to have a repeat of Sunday and when? I feel like Netflix and chill would make her keep asking “Where is this going, are you using me?” Should I let her hit me up?
