These kind of things happen subconsciously. It's like body language. You don't have psychic abilities to tell if someone is lying, but you get a "feeling" that the person is lying by subconscious cues. Your brain is constantly reading thousands of cues from people around you, like eye movements and speech tone, yet you're not conscious of those cues. They're arguing that NoFap does the same. By not fapping, they're claiming that it increases your test e, therefore, your behavior changes and that…

Why are you such a dick? I'm in agreement that marriage is useless. My belief is that if we love each other we would stay together regardless of a damn paper from the government. I was just saying that I might let that belief go because I don't see the harm in it from seeing people I personally know who are happy in their marriages. And I know those people on a very personal level that the wife and husband both share their troubles with me and in general they're quit happy. I don't care about th…

That's fine. I'll reevaluate then. It's not the first girl to ask for marriage. Those girls are in my past now.

That's what I always believed as well... But idk, I'm 28 now and my thoughts are changing. Marriage has a sentimental value that can't be measured. My parents are happily married for 40 years now. I have friends that got married that I just don't see it any other way. IMO those failed marriages happen because either they get married just to get married or they simply don't know how find a good partner. I have been with my girl for 3 years. I wouldn't take 1 day back. She actually keeps asking me…

Thank you, and I'll add that around half of my extended family is Syrian (my mom's side). 2 families are half Egyptians (also mom's side). Got friends from Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and Pakistan. Some are even homosexuals with strict religious parents who know about it and just learned to accept it. Some became Christian. People adapt. It just takes time.

I'm not saying get rid of cultures. I just predict in the future it will become all one culture. A melting pot of all cultures together. There is no harm in celebrating different cultures or studying them. I also think you missed my point about being from Planet Earth. It's not we're all equal. It's just that I don't believe in the idea of nation states. So it doesn't matter where you come from, I won't judge you by that, but I'll judge you by your qualities.

I come from a Muslim family. Immigrants from Palestine to the US. I have around 30+ extended family members who live here now. Let me tell you something, America was the best thing that has ever happened to all of us. And we all recognize it. It just took time. The first generation that comes here are usually home sick, they always think they're going to go back to their homeland, that's why they don't see the need to assimilate. But their kids are a different story. They grew up with Americans.…

Civility literally means politeness and courtesy in action and speech. You show neither. How do you consider yourself "civilized"? Just because you live in an advanced country it doesn't mean you right away get the medal of civility.

Not all of us think this way. Since Trump became a candidate this sub got filled with people like that.

Or just quit looking at the world as different races and just accept the fact that we're all from Planet Earth. With time, we will melt into one culture. Might not be now, might not even be a hundred years from now, but it'll eventually happen. A man is someone who is forward thinking, not residing in the dark ages unable to see flaws in societies and why we try to overcome those flaws.

Please don't leave two messages again. It's a sign of neediness. Shit, don't even leave a message at all. Call and if no answer, text her to call you back. Don't explain why. Just tell her to call you back. If she doesn't, then fuck that bitch. She has obviously seen your text and your missed call. She's not responding. Move on.

You can always be bisexual you know.

Get out of that mindset. You should be flirting with everyone. Male or female. Giving value to people increases your SMV tremendously. This will help you not only with women but with all other aspects of your life. However, escalate sexually only with the people you want to sleep with. That's the divide you should have. Practicing on men and women will make you a much better flirt with the ones you want to sleep with. It will be natural to you because it's now part of your personality.

You tell her to describe it in more detail. Not that it's just a river.. E.g. Is it tumbling and fast river that would knock you off your feet or is it calm and slow?

I hope you're joking. I don't know where you at, but here in Houston EE is counted as the nerdiest kind of engineer. Mechanical/Aero/PE are always the least nerdy. They certainly partied the most during college as well. I'm an EE.

Many say the same. When you're invested in a long-term relationship, the break up will be much harder for you. She will know this and will start playing her red flags against you. It's gonna be really hard to get her in check then.

Yeah, she knew its going to be a buzz kill. Honestly, when people say "this is going to be a buzz kill" they always kill the buzz. She should've just been direct with it. P.S. Osborne is a bitch.

It sure did! I was nervous wreck talking to hot chicks before following the program. Now I got 2 chicks that I'm rotating between without any obligation of a relationship. "Be yourself". Yeah ok. That's a sound advice. Let me be super introverted and not go out at all like how I was before. Or avoid talking to any hot chick even if it's just a regular conversation just because of how nervous I am. Yeah, great advice.

True. But I dont want to depend on people being with me. I want to be able to talk to girls outside of the bar/clubbing scene and I can't have friends with me all day every day. It just wouldn't work. I want to be independent in this.

No. I'm on week 7. Every week (other than first 2 weeks) I had about 1-3 of the objectives to be really tough for me to do. By the end of the week it would be much easier and I don't feel the anxiety I felt in the beginning of the week. I've changed a lot since then and it has effected me in a lot of ways in my day-to-day tasks. I don't do the ridiculous creepy challenges though.

Lol. I know it's a lame name. But don't judge a book by its cover. IMO, the program I linked is pretty solid to get over anxiety.

Practice. Go out to bars 3 times a week even if you hate them. Follow a routine from a known pro. Edit: Recently I found this series of articles which I thought are pretty good. It will help you through all of it. Follow it to the tee. http://www.goodlookingloser.com/entry/how-to-go-out-alone/how-to-go-out-alone-to-bars-part-3

I agree. My parents raised me on home cooked middle eastern food. I hated it when I was a kid but had to deal with it. Now that I'm older I realized they were right. Everyone tells me I'm slim. My current white girlfriend of two years keeps asking me how I stay thin without working out while she goes running and does ab workouts on daily basis. I know exactly why. This is her regular everyday food: wake up, eat 2 frozen breakfast tacos, drink Dr. Pepper + Redbull on the way to work. Keep drinkin…

Depends on where you are in the US. Some cities are built up vertically because of limited space like San Francisco so everyone either cycles or walks around because buildings are very close to each other, I imagine this is like most of the cities in the world. Other cities are built horizontally like Houston because of the vast space. I live in Houston, forget going to the corner store without using a car, its about 20 mins away walking. Less than 3 mins driving. So we do everything driving. Al…

That's because what most people know about the USA is through Hollywood movies which glamorizes the american life. Most movies show hot sexy skinny women with men that have no financial worries what so ever. That is generally not the case in reality. Money is concentrated in a very few hands here.

That's such bullshit and huuuuge generalization. I met plenty of men that cant do basic math. I've also met plenty of brilliant women who work in the engineering industry.

It does happen. I've known plenty of men who do so. Though, some of those situations is where the man is actually mad and doesn't want to share the bed with his wife so he sleeps on the couch.

The first one shows that he doesn't usually know how to flirt, so therefore not a natural. The second shows that he's funny and that its natural to him (who the hell wakes up at 5am to practice how to flirt?) . You don't want to sound like a show off or that you're trying to impress her.
