I’m not saying that Atwood is crazy or that everything she says/does is trash. I just disagreed with that one particular quote. Which is distinctly different than saying I find no positive attributes to her whatsoever, which I never said.

Obviously there are exceptions to the norm. With both rape and the mothers health in jeopardy being two of them. Che said no matter what, in every single scenario. That's what I have a problem with.

I disagree with 95% of what is said in the Men's right subreddit and what MRA's say in general, but in this particular case you all have a valid point. This "pledge" is absurd. Despite all the talk of the men's rights being a hate movement against LBGTQ people, the vast majority of men's rights people I've encountered are very pro LBGTQ. Nor do we hate women. We just point out the corruption with feminism.

The problem is nobody charged me in court with being a pedophile or rapist or whatever. Of course they wouldn't- they would have absolutely no case, even in today's biased court system. So in that case I can't sue them for "false accusation" if it was never brought it up in court. I might be able to sue them for slander though. What I love about her "fellow feminist critics" is that they're mad at her for daring to say "men count too". She's working so hard to destroy the 'man hating' reputation that feminism has (and indeed she nearly had me convinced) but then the rest of the feminist community lambastes her for actually doing the right thing.
