Plenty of women in their 20's date these so-called "bad boys". Plenty also do not. Like any general demographic group of human, young women are incredibly varied and this is borne out in how they date. Naturally their lack of experience often leads to them ending up in relationships that are bad for them. That doesn't mean that they "want" that. I think part of de-programming from red pill thinking is the recognition of these facts. If all it takes to tilt someone back into TRP is one random onl…

Fair I guess, but there is plenty of time to unlearn all that bullshit and replace it with real life experience.

Seriously you are 20 years old with very little real world experience in relationships, how the hell did you even pick up all these views other than reading shit online written by angry dudes who probably have about as much experience with women as you? Go spend then next 10-15 years actually interacting with people. Get burned repeatedly? Then fine, be bitter and shitty but why submit yourself to all this when you have barely tried? And if you have tried and got burned well you are barely out o…

I remember after the Steve McNair murder they had somebody on On Point discussing domestic violence against men. It was a pretty good segment, though obviously the ratio of feminists/mra's is rather skewered on npr. I don't think it's cause npr is anti-mra, but rather that feminism is a lot more mainstream.

And he himself has admitted a lot of it is toungue-in-cheek. where did he admit this?

upvoted for the effort, but "bestof's" don't need to be copypasta'd, I believe.

I'm psyched for this site. Too many men either go into denial or complain incessantly when confronted with the issues they face today. These guys however, tackle the problems head on, in a practical manner. A lot of mra stuff makes me depressed and drained. I usually feel energized after reading this type of stuff. also, looks like famed champion of game, blogger "Roissy in DC" makes his debut tonight.

if you are a responsible person than roommates are the LAST people you want to get involved with sexually. You have no escape if something goes wrong, other than to move. Most situations of men and women living as roommates seem much more "brother/sister" like than sexually charged, in my experience with co-ed dorms/apts. I'm not saying roommates never hook-up, but it's not some sex festival just cause you have both kinds of genitalia under the same roof.

clearly you aren't very dedicated to the green cause, if you don't pee in a cup and drink it. What are you afraid of? Urine is sterile. I hereby dub you a waster of water.

legally I wouldn't want roommates to be forced to live with people they didn't, so I wouldn't see this as that kind of discrimination. But the fact that "females only" is so common on these ads just goes to show where many people's true colors are. It's easy to put on a face of equality in casual situations, but unless one wants to risk having to actually live in close quarters with one of those vile, penis bearing creatures, these very same "equalists" will have to come clean about their prejud…

honestly, I can sort of see where the "older women" are coming from. As a man, you've had decades to adopt to being invisible. Whereas a young woman probably got acclimated to the special attention she did nothing to deserve. Then "poof!"; one day it's gone. While she probably knew that was going to happen on a conscious level, subconsciously it's probably something she rarely considered. She was too busy soaking up the special treatment and acclimating it into her view of reality. That's just a…

so much for the economic benefits of combining on rent... why do I get the feeling this is done by design by some higher power to keep people dis-empowered? Sorry, I know this isn't r/conspiracy but...

and thanks to the internet allowing us young folks to assimilate your horror stories, we know better. Even if you do find a female you want to mate for life with, keep. the. government. out. of. it. of course there are always co-habitation laws but...

people probably also assume that because white males occupy most of the highest positions of power in society, and have not been "historically oppressed" the way women and blacks were, that it makes them "fair game". I think this viewpoint is utter bullshit, personally, but I'm betting it's why they don't get very many letters of complaint.

yea, I would agree with this. Look what she says above: Admiring is awesome. Harassing, not so much. ok fine, but how are we supposed to know the difference? Saying anything sexually related to a woman can be interpreted as harassment, with dire consequences. If not legal, there will surely be social ostracization, and you will be labeled as "creepy". The bottom line is that you can't have your cake and eat it to. If women want men to be "up front sexual" with them in ANY manner, they will have …

I tell you one thing: If I get married to a woman who stays at home, and if this government ever starts paying her with my tax money to drop the kids off at school, Just imagine though if a woman applied to be a mother and on account of the economy, the govt said they weren't hiring for the next 25 years.

I was being a bit hyperbolic. My point was that the boys will develop psychological complexes when nature gives them urges mom taught them were "wrong". That's a reason they might eschew normal porn in favor of something weird, like tentacle porn, or hentai. Those urges have got to go somewhere. Perhaps this is not a problem in itself, but it's a symptom of a deeper neurosis when a guy can't get off to some normal porno cause he thinks it "oppresses" women or whatever... Weirder than tentacles? …

that's the problem with mom's being over involved with their sons. It trains boys to become addicted to female approval, because they feel good when they make mom happy. It's all good until the hormones kick in and they start getting these strange desires that mom taught them were "wrong/objectifying/patriarchal" or whatever, and they become filled with shame for failing her. Chances are they will start developing weird fetishes that make tentacle porn look tame! Not that these kids will end up …

When I tell the boys that not all girls like dolls, or makeup, Dora has always been able to serve as a ready marker of truth in my words. yes, because after all, children's cartoons are an excellent representation of reality. It's not like they are drawn up in a back room animation studio or anything...

it's ballsy to stick your nuts in a meat cutter. It's also a good way to lose your nuts. Just cause something is ballsy doesn't mean it can't also be stupid.

when I read that I thought to myself that this woman is making a challenge. She is saying something so absurd just to see if she can get away with it. It's also a belittlement/insult to men who hold the idea that divorce laws are often biased in favor of the woman. Sort of like saying "man up" in code while acting all legit, as if nobody is going to understand the subtext.

the author of that article (sfgate) might mean well, but I don't think she really has a clue as to what she is talking about. This line, in the last paragraph, was especially revealing, and sealed the deal on my opinion of her; if they (fathers) say that getting help is their obligation as men so they can be good partners and providers, so men are to be viewed as partners and providers rather than autonomous beings who should be happy for their own sake? Anybody think this viewpoint might have s…
