You’re entirely missing the point. Spending too much time looking at extremists (male or female) will have you believing that those are common beliefs. They’re, not and it’s very detrimental to your mental health to go down that rabbit hole.

He’s being ridiculed because his boundaries are unreasonable. He wanted her to swim away from any man who spoke to her while surfing. There’s a difference between setting boundaries and being controlling. Not being able to talk to the other sex makes daily life almost impossible.

Very few people are even aware of those feminists. I’ve certainly never heard of them. Far more people know about mass shooters like Elliot Rodger who is actually praised in dark corners of the internet.

Sure, there's also mass shooters publishing manifestos about murdering women. That doesn't mean its a common or healthy belief system.

It sounds like you are looking in the extremes of the internet. They are not accurate representations of people's beliefs. These corners can be extremely damaging to your mental health because it will begin to normalize radical beliefs and have you believing that is a common mindset.

There are certain topics I don’t discuss with my family because it devolves into a fight. Sometimes it’s better to ask yourself, will this conversation bring us closer together or further apart? If it’s the latter, it’s best not to get into it with them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
