If a man sees your values as a negative, then he isn't right for you.

This isn't a happy ending. He's "sad" over some random other girl that he never even dated? That's a ridiculously huge red flag that his feelings run pretty deep for her, even though he's with you.

Yes, it's totally possible. Look at all the smoking hot tall models out there. You've probably got great legs, so you should play that up as your best feature.

I think people say this because most people can't really tell when women have makeup on, unless it's extremely obvious or badly applied. I've worn concealer, foundation, liner, mascara, and contoured my face and still had guy friends mention how they liked my "natural" look.

I mostly shop at H&M, J. Crew, Zara, and Madewell.

Just ignore him. Or respond with curt, disinterested, one word answers: Him: How is work? You: Good. If he doesn't get the hint, stop interacting altogether. I don't think you owe him an explanation of your current relationship status. You're not interested, that's all he needs to know. Hopefully, he gets it. If not, be direct and tell him you have no interest in keeping in touch with him.

He actually TOLD you that you were an 8, but she was his "10"?! That's not cool. That's a douchebag move and a clear sign that he's not even trying to get over her. Do you really want to be in a relationship where it's crystal clear that he prefers another woman over you--and should that woman ever decide to give it a try with him, you'd be dumped in a second?

His fixation on this girl does not seem healthy for your relationship. I don't think there is anything you can do to become "more beautiful and alluring to him" because you cannot become her. I personally think it's a big red flag that he "doesn't feel like" making presents for you -- his ACTUAL girlfriend -- but made her ones (that he still keeps) even though she never reciprocated his feelings. That doesn't seem fair to you. I know that you think he's an amazing boyfriend, but an "amazing" boy…

If you're JUST starting out with make-up, I would suggest concealing any blemishes/dark circles, topping it off with some setting powder, a thin line of eyeliner (liquid is my preference, but pencil is more natural), and tons of mascara. Finish off with a tinted lip balm, or lipstick in a natural color. This will leave you looking natural, but polished. For some more 'oomph' I would really, really suggest learning how to put on falsies. Preferably the individual lashes. If you learn how to apply…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
