Journaling is a great pre talk therapy habit to form! I find it so helpful to sort feelings out, especially in the moment. Looking back on things is also very helpful!

I'm so thankful that my ex boyfriend of 5 years let me go so that I could move closer to my girlfriends and find true love. I'm thankful for all the second chances that I've been given and for all the exceptions that have been made in my name to get me to where I am now; supported by my community, graduated from college, loved by my friends and family for who I really am, and in a place to start rebuilding my future.
