I'd focus on trying to stay connected to him. Just having a sister he's close to is probably going to go a long way. Connection before correction, as they say.

I mean that's happened maybe 2-3 times in my life and I was vaguely flattered, but if it happened 2-3 times every time I left the house, I could see it being incredibly annoying, even if they were super polite.

What do you mean gateway? It just is alt-right. Blatant sexists are also bigots in other areas of their life. It's all the same mindset. My group is superior, now let's come up with some evopsych BS to justify it.

This is stupid for two reasons: Men cheat more often than women do. (Just google infidelity stats.) Individuals aren't statistics. Choose someone who is trustworthy and you should be able to trust them.

Imagine if you'd never had a friend in your whole life. You regret missing out on that "best friend" experience that young people often have, so you insist on only making friends with other people who have never had friends. Otherwise it won't be as special. Does that make sense to you?
