thanks brosephine. I'm actually going to start a sub called neo-enlightenment socialism. Wanna join? You can be a sub. :)

On the plus side, I got banned for posting this on a socialist sub, whereas they seem to at least appreciate free speech here - which is good. I fucking hate totalitarians and unfortunately the left is infected with them. You even get totalitarian anarchists who have no interest in a rational debate and prefer to shame you instead. I mean, like, literally, what the actual fuck. How can you be so moronic as to be an anarchist and to use totalitarian tactics? Literally boggles my mind to fuck. Lik…

To be clear, I think we need to recognise that the feminist strategy is no longer useful, but we also need to recognise the infinite variety of humanity that exists, even if that variety is weighted. Yes, biology is important, but so is sociology - both play an important part in the creation of gender. We need to rebalance the books and place biology back into the discussion of gender, but we also need to recognise the importance of the idiosyncratic and the sexually deviant - after all, homosex…

As a true progressive, I find it hard to manage being here, but I also see the value here. What is your suggestion?

The first and second waves were also bullshit, but you were too vulnerable to sense the abuse to your mind. So you don't think women should have the vote?

I can see that one of us doesn't belong here. edit and if you think I am trying to marginalize anything, you haven't been paying attention

Get a sense of humour bro. Respect is a more subtle thing that most people realise

I'm not advocating for celibacy for anyone. I agree with the view that men and women are biologically different, but we are also biologically varied and have different sex drives on an individual basis as well. Many really interesting, funny and cool dudes are celibate e.g. the Dalai Lama - yet he has one of the healthiest sexual attitudes I know - he doesn't ignore or bury his sexuality he just doesn't express it in a physical way. The libidinal energy of our sexuality can be used in many ways …

I am fully aware that there are two types of women - one who like muscles and ones that don't know that they like muscles. That said, although it is a legitimate strategy, it is not the only strategy. Personally I have time to put into being fit and healthy, but I have zero interest in becoming an athlete or a weightlifter. Woman are attracted to many different forms of strength in my view - not just physical strength, but also wealth, material power and charisma. I choose to develop my intellec…

"benevolent sexism" aka treating women like children.

Who knew? Men and women are both prone to stupidity and don't know what they really want and are bad at judging other people. Fuck those people, you do not need to accept anybody's poor judgement just to get a lay or keep a girl. You are better than that.

Its not necessary to be a muscle-clad stud to attract a woman. You just have not to be a wussy.

She asked. He told her he wouldn't slow down. They made an agreement. She was too slow and threw a tantrum. He held his ground. This is a man who a) lets his women make her own choices and b) lets his woman take responsibility for those choices. I thought that is what feminists wanted from men. Apparently not.

I'm going to say this flat out. I appreciate what you guys are doing here and I don't want to change it, but I haven't had sex in over 2/3 years and it genuinely doesn't bother me any more. Sexual abstinence, whether voluntary or involuntary, is a valid method of growth whether you intend it to be or not. Many of the greatest minds in history were abstinent either by choice (the Buddha) or by accident (Nietzsche). Sex and sexuality are important - don't get me wrong, but they cannot be forced. T…
