This is a situation where a soft approach would work better. Start slow by just smiling, then small talk next time you see her, get to know her name eventually the next time etc. If you get the vibe that it's not going to work out or she's got a bf then no harm done

This sub is weird The OP seems to be a nice totally not misogynistic guy and the push back and lack of empathy is astounding

"There's someone for everyone" is a very simplistic view of the dynamics of the dating market. There's a reason why women complain of men not committing, ghosting and getting stuck in situationships

A brunch date is a pretty low priority for her. She wasn't that interested.

TBH It sounds like she knows you like her and she's using it to her benefit. Either that or she's entitled and selfish.

The confidence within yourself and posture aspects are a big factor. Also the dedication and perseverance it takes to change your body composition is attractive too. Showing you value yourself enough to put in the work is beneficial for someone to value yourself aswell. I've found instead of being a bulky/muscly powerlifter body type is not too attractive to women but when I leaned down to more of a fit swimmer's body with muscles has gained a lot more female attention. Not only muscle mass but …

For men finding a mate is significantly harder than women. Many female partners for a male signifies higher value and that you're preselected by other mates which can be a way (some) women build attraction. Men dont use promiscuity in women as a way of determining suitability whereas some women do use this via preselection. A key that opens many locks is valuable and a lock that opens to many keys is not. There's also the theory that as women become more promiscuous, this damages their ability t…

I guess not. This forum just seems like coordinated gaslighting for low confidence self hating men that all the woes in the dating market are their own fault. I'm just looking for a balanced, nuanced view of gender relations as they stand today.

Is a woman being submissive and 'constantly staying home' the same thing? I think there are quite a lot of men who don't want a loud abrasive controlling woman but at the same time don't expect or want them to stay home. This view sounds like a big straw man. Submissive to me is that if the man takes the lead, then the woman will happily follow but there should also be a balance where the woman's wants are taken into account. The modern entitled 3rd wave feminist is really the antithesis of subm…

Wouldn't want to make them laugh or befriend them. That sounds toxic.

Why are counterpoints always centred around the man has to improve himself? Believe me men are trying. This is evidenced by the rise in men's improvement channels on YT focussing on dating because that's where the views are and the rise in dating focussed channels for men in general. Do you think there is any imperative for the woman to improve given the dynamics in the dating market at the moment? If no then what effect does this have on a generation of women who feel entitled to sexual selecti…

On this topic, are there any threads here that deal with the redpill talking points that are correct vs the ones that are false because some of the posts in here actually confirm what the red pill guys talk about eg the 80/20 rule.. Or is this forum just dedicated to disproving it all?

Only way to deal with these women is remove your attention and exercise your options. Women feed on male attention. If you do not remove your attention you are telling her you accept her bad behaviour.

Women can pull better quality men for hook-ups than they can relationships. This gives women a false sense of their SMV.

Losing the ability to pair bond is the main concern. Some men and women can maintain their pair bonding ability, some can't.

I don't understand how dread can work on women these days with the dating market the way it is. Unless you're super high value the woman will subconsciously know she can replace you easily.

LOL it's literally Tinder and how women only pick the top 20%..

Women would rather be in harems with the chads than look down their nose far enough to see any male below the top 20%(10%)..

This is what it looks like when a promiscuous female loses her ability to pair bond.

They'd much rather protect themselves from a dude who can't lay the pipe than from a dude who may smack them around a bit

Wow. Very thought provoking. You are right, our thoughts and pre conceptions are a lens through which we view the world. Although a lot of the 'manosphere' come off as bitter and resentful towards women (which are red flags for mine) I think they speak some truth about a lot of 'modern' women and feminism in a world that doesn't want to speak about it. Young men need to be taught something other than 'sugar and spice and all things nice' in a way that doesn't leave them vulnerable to being a doo…

It's just life. In their 20s, hot girls have all the choice and just want to have fun with the bad boys. When they grow up and start thinking about the future they start wanting the provider. The successful provider doesn't want the (formerly) hot woman with kids in toe. Women are told they can have it all but fail to realise the responsible guy may not still be attainable for them after they've got to that stage.

You need to have an abundance mindset. Just because she is great and you are happy with her, doesn't mean you cant find and attract another equally great if not better. Also learn to live in the moment more.
