You should try the good men project or my own work at The Cameron Journal

Been saying this for ten years and every time it gets brought on Twitter, teachers and other women jump down your throat about it and claim it’s not true.

I’ve been saying this for awhile. Nature favors the feminine and in most species, only select males get to breed with many other males dying without breeding. I think this is why we’re seeing a renaissance of sex work right now.

The problem is that most men don’t want to go into those fields. Female dominated fields tend to require a high level of emotional intelligence, conscientiousness, and empathy. They don’t have much dignity and often don’t pay enough to provide for a family. Edit: not being sarcastic just stating truths from work force data.

Yeah, I’m in a gamer group and all the emotional issues go on behind the scenes. I’m older than sone of them so they message me privately to talk about stuff. In front of the group they keep up a bit of a front. I’m not that way, I talk openly as a way of showing them how to be vulnerable in a big brother sort of way. I can get conversations going that help all of us. I don’t think anyone would do any crying.

Gay men have avoided this? I don’t think so. Gay sex took place in back alleys and in bathrooms for years because it was essentially illegal to sodomize another man. The social disdain for men who engage in sex with other men is still very much here which is why so many heterosexual married men seek out gay sex on apps without a profile pic. Gay men can’t get a handy at a massage parlor. Instead they hire these guys offline for the purpose. There are similar struggles for both which has to do wi…

I don’t like his defense of poor male behavior. He and I talked at length about that on my old talk show.

So to summarize, these women should only get help if they meet your ideas of why they chose to have children or divorce? And your solution is to turn to sex work? What 1850s village are you from?

One of the best things you can do in your life is never use the word should ever again. It’s life changing. That said, I agree but that’s not how pair bonding and mate selection works. We are modern humans running on software written 100k years ago for a very different world.

Men are more likely to only have a single income (no child support or alimony) and they are more likely not to have children, be single longer or have incomes reduced due to paying family support. Also, men tend to graduate college at a lower rate resulting in lower incomes.

The economy has been predicated on two incomes for some time now, especially the price of housing. This is why single people are shut out of the housing purchase market.

I was surprised by how circumspect Paul was. I was expecting to be arguing with him for an hour and end the interview frustrated. However, almost the exact opposite happened. I was pleasantly surprised and there are lots of valuable posts that AVFM posts. The post we're talking about spoke to me. I've struggled with the "what kind of man am I?" question in my own life. That said. AVFM has some problems: https://mathias-nilges.com/student-projects-the-new-culture-wars/2018/4/1/white-mens-fear-of-…

It’s not that he didn’t care about it, he actually wanted to do a debate about that what bothered me is that he was not concerned with toxic masculinity behind it. Also, some of their posts traffic in alt-right gender attitudes.

I’ll summarize it. So when I scheduled this I thought I’d be talking about PUAs, players, and other such problems. I was surprised at how circumspect he was about modern gender politics. The reason I bring up gamergate is that at the time, they had taken a very different view than everyone else. Paul didn’t see gamergate as an actual scandal which surprised me. AVFM has some good resources for men and can be very helpful for those going through divorce/custody issues and those dealing with false…

Indeed, white racial consciousness is a big factor. Gender and sexual politics need not attack men but many activists don’t care.

I’m with you on all the above. I think OP is pointing out that the Left might be spending too much time focusing on gender equality and that might alienate men who believe in leftist ideas but feel attacked. This won’t change their minds but it might give them a healthy dose of apathy.

College was a minefield of navigating racist and feminist professors. I had a professor who didn't like anyone who wasn't hispanic or spoke spanish because she would rather be lecturing in spanish. Then I had a professor who just didn't like men writ large. It was fun times. As much as I hated the straight, white male circle jerk that was the political science department, at least I wasn't being shat on daily.

Then you were very lucky. My program basically tried to figure out how not let you graduate from the moment you walked through the door. My experiences in both undergrad and grad school was hardly pass through and considering Poli Sci lays the foundation for most lawyers and several important business leaders including people like Indra Nooyi, chairman and CEO of Pepsico I think we need to mindful that not all humanities are created equal.

And I think they can grow up if they have somewhere to openly talk about it and learn from their mistakes. We don't have to just tell them to grow the fuck up. We can and should do better.

I agree with you and I think if we can steer the conversation in that direction we can provide the necessary support without trying to use the broad brush of rape on every sexual encounter.
/r/MensRights05/07/16 11:06 PM

Regret sex is a real thing. I've been in that situation. I think we should have emotional and psychological support for young people after that type of thing but it should never be called rape. I think a nice group where everyone can talk about making better decisions could be better. We're so misguided at 18-22 years old, just having a chance to be honest about your feelings could make a huge difference.

Yeah I knew a guy who was delivering pizzas to get through school. I knew another guy who was doing meatpacking in out town at night to get through and lots of guys would work construction at various times in the summer or work oil rigs. A few just dropped out because they couldn't balance it. Indeed, I was almost that guy. College was so financially unsustainable for me personally even with great tuition help that I almost dropped out because I needed to actually have an income to live a life. …

This UK law is confusing.......a father is only a father as long as he is in a couple. As this reads, a father who is not married to the mother has no claim or responsibility to said child.Parliament needs to get cracking on a change.
