It just comes down to maintaining frame I think. This comes from a place of self confidence. Drive yourself in other areas of your life and derive intrinsic rewards from them and you will be able to maintain this frame. Also, I think its probably worth mentioning that almost all of us have flaws which LTRs have a way of shining the light onto. Try to catch these flaws before they make you into a weeny. Yea, it's kind of her personality at times. She can be pretty sarcastic and douchy, mainly as a humor style. Honestly, most of the time I dig it and find it amusing. It just seems to push my buttons when other life factors are weighing and / or I've formed expectations like wanting her to be into something I'm into. (Which I know is redic - I'm working at it here folks.)

Good reminder re: LTR. You're right. Both of us have just gone pretty hard at it I guess, so it feels like an LTR. Difficulty with resetting is that we have a pretty established trend of her snoozin' at my place. I am peacing out on a work course next week though, so that should provide opportunity for distance and such. Shall check out MRP. Gracias.

I think things like this are fine frankly. It's just a matter of your perspective on it. Be cool with the fact that you guys have an interesting emotional / intellectual attachment - these in themselves can be quite interesting / good for us I think. People need a mix of shit. Just stop caring about it so much. Kill expectations. Have more options.
