Understood. What male subreddits do you recommend? I thought they were all banned or quarantined?

This 1 million percent. You need to be able to be secure so that you don’t depend on the guy but rather make a choice together to go that route. If you’re independent but happy, not looking to get into someone to provide for you then that will be more appealing

I don't know this guy and how he was raised but I do these things instinctually because my mom made me do them as soon as I was able. I always assumed a guy should open a car door for a lady, keep her on the inside, let her in first except if there might be danger, etc. It was when I started dating after my first marriage when I found out it's not at all common. Also, I wanted to throw out that I've been told by two people I was dating "I can open my own car door, thanks" so it can be defeating.

It takes dating, engagement, and marriage to prove to BOTH husband and wife that this role is safe and best for both. My advice is to have patience. I agree wit…

I think at some point in relationships people become complacent or the opposite, lash out. You haven’t done anything wrong. He probably wants the chase and isn’t getting that. That’s ok. It happens. He sounds immature

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
