“Don’t get me wrong, I love him and this year we celebrated 17 years together – 13 of them married – but I wish he’d lie, cheat, defame or slander just once, so that I could feel better about my own less-than-perfect character,” She wants him to bend her over and discipline her.

Yes, scale-based feedback works very well. Some people get too focused on the logging and frustrated that the logging and computed TDEE doesn't drive the weightloss.

Is there any way to log calories burned from lifting? The best I've seen are adaptive feedback based on tracking weight changes to impute caloric use. Things like 3-sun or the old Hacker's Diet. If you know the math (1lb=3500cal) it's easy to work out adjustments for the unknowns.

Congratulations on your progress! How did you adjust your deficit over time? You seem to have averaged a 500cal/day deficit: 20 lbs @ 3500cal/lb = 70,000 cal / 140 days = 500 cal/day Don't want people to come away expecting a 100cal/day deficit is going to drop 20lbs that quickly and get discouraged. Estimating TDEE is difficult so that could be a source of error. One good way to approach this is with feedback like the 3-suns method in the r-fitness wiki. You basically compare what you logged vs…

Yeah, I agree about this. People forget the 12 levels of dread seems to have been a satirical thing inspired by AA and it's been taken it too seriously. Even the order of the early steps seems pretty arbitrary. Why not get clothes before hobbies or whatever. There's no deep meaning to the method. Anyone who doesn't understand BPP as at least 50% satire/venting is on the spectrum. jack10 even noted that nobody who's actually doing this ever makes it into the upper levels. But it's just always fel…

What is the red pill ideology? So yes the Red Pill is an ideology because it presupposes a lot of things like materialism, Atheism, Hedonism, Self help ideology, each of which are Ideological on their own and continue to be Ideological when combined in an ideology strew. Is that true? For example, suppose you make a stew out of meat and vegetables. It doesn't follow that stew is a meat or a vegetable. But even if that issue is cleared all you seem to achieve is the claim that Red Pill presuppose…

Above all else, I am firmly in category A, however I enjoy seeing people's approaches in cat B I agree with this. I enjoy seeing other guy's perspectives and experience and wisdom. I value the novelty even if I don't ultimately agree. Watching guys wage war over who's perspective or experience is superior just gets petty and uninteresting. It distracts from the learning and ends up in a race to the bottom flurry of insults and posturing. C) Various individuals and groups that utilize A as part o…

I created my account on trp.red back when it looked like TRP was going to go poof. I didn't have a reddit account to link at signup so I just skipped that. Then somehow I worried that someone else could eventually claim my trp.red username on reddit and impersonate me. So I created this account. Some of my older comments do now showup associated with my profile on trp.red, but I don't know if I need to do anything else to link them or confirm we are the same person?

This guy's story would have gone very differently if he'd been married rather than engaged. The living together wasn't the problem. He was playing the blue pill game of feeding her BB strategy by provisioning (house, financial support, car, and etc). Live-in-fiancée is pretty much the best BB play there is. The mixing of finances was too far, though. That's too much unearned comfort and commitment. She hasn't even committed her womb to him. This guy's "revenge" story isn't really much of a reven…

fiancée Why would you have joint credit cards and bank accounts with a fiancée? Good on him not marrying her and finding some last-minute balls but his behavior leading up to this is utterly moronic. You don't treat a girlfriend like a wife.

There is a lot of truth in what you've written. In fact there are many large studies that show that women in LTR want sex far, far more than their partners believe. So married guys are clearly leaving sex on the table. But it's also not just one-sided like this. The same things you describe apply to the woman. Stress, kids, body changes, comfort, etc. There is a considerable literature about women losing desire in LTR and it's far more complicated than just the guy letting himself go.

Well yes, there is a whole other drama there you’re unaware of. But that is a fork for other reasons than error correction. You can’t claim that as correcting errors on TRP. I guess you're going to have to specify what you mean by "error correction" then. Forks happen because creators are unsatisfied with anything--the process--the product--literally anything. So it most certainly can include error correction of leadership or because different audiences have different focuses and priorities. A g…

If you exclude, and ban, anyone forking a branch... and your ECs/Mods describe them as "Not real RP" because they're not participating here you are not living up to the promise of being "error correcting". You are just excluding everyone who tries to do so... and by so doing defending an "orthodoxy" on TRP instead of using it to make TRP better. Haven't there already been a few forks? RedPillWomen was spun off. There was the marriedredpill vs theredpill split. There was also the RedPillWomen vs …

Why didn't you reply to my answer to your question? Or answer my followup question for you? I posted them in your previous thread after the TRP threads were locked. It seems disingenuous to claim nobody wanted to engage you in debate.

I was composing a response for the other thread but I guess it's over and locked so I'll comment here. I'm not one of these "big head" people you're interested in hearing from and I'm not particularly active on reddit (I mostly read the blogs on trp.red and registered my nick there and then realized it would be a good idea to claim my nick over here too). I'm just riff-raff and was mostly lurking by the time TRP was quarantined. So I don't really know what goes on in TRP itself because I'm mostl…

Seriously. Science is nothing more than one formalized method of trial and error--specifically with the goal of seeking truth. The goal here is to have lots of amazing sex. It's not rocket science, but we could maybe call it pocket rocket science.

Seems like you're really invested in this idea that TRP doesn't want to debate you as some sort of "gotcha". A good way to do that would be to pick topics nobody cares about and demand people debate you. Then you can jump up on a soapbox and proclaim: "See! Nobody will debate me! They're lying liars who lie!!!" So I'll give you what you really want and ignore you.

It was hard to miss because this thread was literally full of you typing tomes upon tomes litigating the finer points of dictionaries yesterday. And then boom top comment today, Round 79 or something. What does any of this have to do with Rule 0?

I just clicked your history after seeing your edit in the TRP thread and saw where you were clearly told to take a breather. And then I saw you having some sort of meltdown over here trying to spin it as ECs being afraid to debate you.

When the goal is making imbeciles look incompetent, you keep putting the ball in their court so they can continue to fumble and embarrass themselves. Otherwise the optics are that TRP has no play and you're just running out the clock to claim the loss. Running out the clock to claim a loss is fine if that's what you want (I suppose). Trash talking while doing that doesn't really emphasize the opposing team's incompetence.

They could just ban the community, but our mod team fervently enforces Reddit's rules. If they do this, they send a message to every other community on reddit: We don't play by the rules we have set. This is wishful thinking. TRP is quarantined precisely because it annoys other moderators and communities. They don't care or know how well you follow Reddit's rules, that's invisible to everyone. They're happy we're quarantined and wish we were banned. But overall this gets to general negotiations.…

The take-away is that women specifically seek guys who will buy their lies. The lies are non-stop, so just have fun.

What I really like about this is how it setup the various things for her to ponder. Are you saying she would have gotten in if she'd tried flirting with you instead? Are you telling her that her shitty attitude is unwelcome inside? This is great on all counts.
