10	Sexism in Medicine I see it everyday at the hospital where a woman was seeking care for months and not taken seriously and then ends up on my unit with a hysterectomy or mastectomy either just in time or too late. Even my niece at 34 found a lump while breastfeeding and the doctor waited 3 months to do anything (wanted to watch it) because it’s rare for women her age to have cancer- she had to have radiation, a radical mastectomy, and chemo because it was an aggressive form of cancer! 7	Depressed about Being Tall As a woman standing at 6’1 I feel your pain. I know it’s easy to say but you need to learn to embrace and love every part of yourself. Even at 6’1 I still wear heels, and my husband who is 6’ loves it.
