I don't understand this either -- and, like you, I'm leaving looks out of the equation. Are they that clueless to think we would be interested in someone, OR have their egos been stroked so much that they genuinely do think that they have something to offer? (I'm hoping it's not Option C - they consciously or subconsciously want to live off a woman - but I wouldn't be surprised in some cases.) Right -- and let's not even get into how some of them have inappropriate boundaries with the ex-wife. Several guys have tried to tell me "it's all good, we're still friends" as if that's a good thing.

Yeah. From what I'm seeing on OLD, many men hit a wall at 30. Overweight/obese, bad/ruddy skin tone from bad diet and too much drinking, balding (not their fault at all, but shave that shit and own it -- it looks so desperate).
