62	What was the last straw? When we were out for a walk with our son then 2, and my little one fell...I ran towards him and when I picked him up I threw my back out, just very simply threw it out completely and I had to lay on the ground crying. He stood over me. He never once asked me if I was okay, never offered to help me. I was on the ground crying in front of him and our son for over 5 minutes until I could get the strength to stand up and hobble home. 2	Have you ever noticed how single mothers are villainized in movies for setting boundaries concerning their kids with their ex-husbands? I’ve noticed this narrative in so many movies that I liked as a kid and now I’m trying to watch them with my son but they just BOTHER me. 7	Anytime I would bring up our issues my ex would go silent and ignore me. I wish I’d had this attitude this time last year! My husband once didn’t speak to me for EIGHT WEEKS. I finally caved and got us into marriage counseling. It was a wash. The whole thing is a wash. I’m still living with him but the marriage is over.
