Do you find casual sex to be better than sex in a relationship?

I can’t get casual sex at all, so any sort of casual sex is wanted for me Do you mean just casual sex? What about sex in an existing romantic relationship?

The point is that they are more repulsed to it compared to women. Men are more sex crazed and have much lower standards than women but are more repulsed to same sex activity than women. It's not the repulsiveness in itself. It's how the repulsiveness compares to that of women.

I excluded prostitution because of the current situation, so I'm only focusing on online sex work.

This topic comes up a lot and to me it can be summed up with answering whether you believe people are entitled to sex. I think people are entitled to their belongings, so we should regulate how people interact with belongings that aren't theirs; for instance, if you own a phone, the state should have the right to prevent others from taking it without your consent, and punish people who steal it. So this is an example of something that should be regulated. Now, if you believe that people are enti…

ironically, the priority that men place on sex has created the idea that men always enjoy sex no matter what, and it lead to male sexual assault not being taken seriously, which in turn is another men's issue

I imagine not having sex is more or less the same as not having friends, relationships, community etc. These are things we crave in life and without them, we feel lonely. As to why anyone should "care" about people who want sex/friends/relationships/etc but can't get any, the appropriate amount of sympathy is really just "welp, that sucks for them and it's sad", and nothing else is really needed beyond that. I feel sad for anyone who can't get friendships, relationships or sex, but that's really…

I'm actually skeptical about that statistic. Is the stat referring to being assaulted in itself - which includes things like gang violence and people mutually fighting each other - or is it only referring to random attacks on innocent strangers?

then the general female population should be responsible for solving 30-40% of it, Yes. And they can do that by, well, not doing those crimes anymore. And the women not doing those crimes to begin with can continue not doing those crimes. But yes, prostitution is definitely close to 100% on the female to be resolved lol. If the premise is that prostitution is unethical and should be demolished, then yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/20 06:05 PM
1

If they are problems that should be solved, then sure. I don't find prostitution to be unethical though. If you find it unethical and want it gone, then yes that would make sense. (I'm assuming you're talking about women who go into prostitution out of their own will, not those who are trafficked (largely by men)). as high as 30 to 40 percent, 30-40% of those specific crimes? As in men account for 60-70% of those crimes? Is that what it implies? If that's the case then it's not "female-dominated…

Because my post is a rebuttal to men blaming women when the people they should be pissed at are some of their fellow men. A lot of men believe that most of the people perpetuating their issues are women. My rebuttal is that this is not actually the case; most of the people perpetuating these issues are men. That's what my concern is about.

I'm not talking about the comments. I'm talking about the post - the link to the screenshot. I can't prove anything with the reddit comments since it's anonymous. I am explicitly referring to the link (https://i.redd.it/0hc4i61faf521.jpg)

Re-read my post. I understand that male sexual assault is not taken as seriously as its female counterpart I never mentioned sexual assault IN ITSELF (i.e. the act in itself). I mentioned sexual assault NOT BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY. I never "added" a point. That was my original point the whole time.

Then sorry if it wasn't clear. I mean 9 out of 10 times when someone makes a downplaying comment it's a man. I do not mean that 9 out of 10 times when someone makes any comment it's a man making a downplaying comment. Unfortunately the comments were censored. I didn't edit/post those screenshots. In which case just refer to the facebook links, not the reddit links.

Non-relevant point? Are you implying that "sexual assault not being taken seriously" is not a problem? I don't understand your point.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/20 05:17 PM

I literally said this whole time that I was talking about "sexual assault not being taken seriously", not sexual assault itself. Yet you continue to insist that I am talking about sexual assault itself. And are you implying that "sexual assault not being taken seriously" is not a problem? The reason why I'm not talking about the sexual assault act itself is because I defined men's issues as "issues that overwhelmingly or disproportionally affect men". Sexual assault happens overwhemingly to wome…

With all due respect, that's definitely less then the "9 out of 10 times " you perpetrate in OP, even if everyone upvoted the same comments. You are misreading the post. I'm not talking about 9 of 10 times whenever someone comments on the story it's someone downplaying it. I'm talking about 9 of 10 times when someone explicitly downplays the issue it's a man doing it. Most men's issues are caused by men (or men's issues are largely caused by men) =/= Most men cause men's issues. So you agree tha…

If someone says they were sexually assaulted and people don't take them seriously, the result is that they are not taken seriously. Therefore, the person's sexual assault not being taken seriously is caused by the people not taking them seriously. is this not logically consistent?

or the fact that they push for female equal representation and benefits at every turn... whether it's female CEOs, Athletes, political position, etc. I don't believe that every occupation must be equally represented. In fact, I don't think gender should play a role when it comes to employment; people should be judged by their skills and merits. I don't identify much with third/fourth wave feminism. That's because of your basis of assumption that it's a "men's world". Ironically there's more fema…

Except like I literally just said. I'm not talking about the sexual assault itself. I'm talking about the sexual assault not being taken seriously. Men not being taken seriously when they report sexual assault is caused by men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/20 04:56 PM

Did I say ALL problems are caused by men? No. I said the majority. There are problems affecting men that are not caused by men, they are simply in the minority. The example I referred to was explicitly the fact that men are not taken seriously when they are sexually assaulted. I'm not talking about the sexual assault itself. The sexual assault itself is the fault of the person/s committing the assault. The victim not being taken seriously is the fault of whoever decides to not take the victim se…

Disagree. The point of contention here wasn't social aspect (whether society takes sexual assault seriously when it's female on male), but rather the bias and often lenient sentencing women get. And why do you think women get such sentences? Most judges are male. And society in itself go hand in hand with our laws (our laws are created by society). And the societal view that excuse/condone the women doing these things is largely perpetuated by men. Citation massively needed. Also if you understa…

It's a mindless argument to say that the problem of boys being sexually assaulted is caused by the comments made by (some) men afterwards. I'm not blaming them for the sexual act itself (the sexual act is blamed on whoever performs the act, in this case the teacher). I'm talking about the fact that the case isn't taken seriously and the woman doesn't go to jail, and the victim is laughed at. These are two completely different things.

Wasn't trying to joke around it, was genuinely asking. I've heard of some guys who actually entertained this idea because they couldn't get casual sex from women and felt it was better than nothing so I wondered whether you had this thought too
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/20 03:28 PM
2

Yes, if it's on your mind that much then I do wonder if you've tried out all the alternatives. But if it's sexual validation you're looking for then that could be an alternative?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/20 03:24 PM

Have you considered prostitutes / hooking up with other men? I've heard that some straight guys don't mind having another guy blow them apparently

I believe the stats are a bit misleading (I remember seeing a thread discussing these stats, i'll have to find them) Either way, it would still be the case for gay men.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/20 05:26 PM

I believe that the current hatred that men and women throw at each other is almost exclusively due to heterosexuality. If sexuality were a choice, a fuck ton of men and women would remain gay (or asexual).
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/20 05:17 PM
6

imo there's no "blame" on how men and women perceive attraction to each other. It's like blaming men for not being able to get pregnant, or blaming dogs for not being able to communicate to humans. If you want to blame anyone for how men are attracted to women or how women are attracted to men, then blame nature, or god. Whatever it was that developed our biology.

Also explains why there are far more gay bars, gay bathhouses than lesbian bars and lesbian bathhouses. Men and women are different. Heterosexuality is actually a bit of a tragedy if not for reproduction.

I believe I wasn't clear when I said "that's just how it is". I meant that we should not force people to do things that infringe on their entitlement, i.e. to deal with it on your own in ways that don't infringe others. I should have said this instead of that, so I apologize for the confusion. Again, there is no problem with a solution that does not violate other people's entitlement (like I have repeated multiple times in my previous comments). Are we in agreement now?

Im asking why the government is taking my money AND GIVING IT TO WOMEN. Are the women entitled to my money? According to you, no. Which leads to the deduction that the government should not be allowed to take your money and give it to women. This makes sense. DO try to correct things we see as problems even if it has nothing to do with entitlement. Yes or no? IF we actively as a society try to correct things we see as issues that have nothing to do with entitlement, then how is it sound to assum…

Whether people are entitled to a certain thing is up to you, it's your opinion. Some people think taxation is theft. If you're one of those people, then it logically follows that there should be no taxation in the first place. It's simple as that. If you believe that government is not entitled to take our money and spend it on their own interests, then it follows that you believe there should be no taxation here. That's logically sound. You ask "why is the government taking my money then" as if …

I never implied that it's not a problem. What I am saying is that, if someone is not entitled to something, then we should not force that something to be given to them. "well since there's no physical harm, it's not an issue that needs attention " is? What about theft? Nobody got hurt? I never used the word "harm", you brought that up. I used the word entitlement. If you own an object, you are entitled to it (meaning you are also entitled to people not taking it away from you without your consen…

From this, could we conclude that the fact that sexual harassment against males is not taken seriously is largely men's fault then?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/20 03:48 PM

I think that whether anything needs to be "done" about this depends entirely on whether you believe that people are entitled to sex. Otherwise... that's just how it is. Like let's say assault is on the rise. There are more and more innocent people being randomly beaten the shit out of on the streets. Should we do something about that? Yes, because not being randomly beaten the shit out of is what everyone is entitled to. So the "what should be done" in this case could be answered with forcing pe…

Well since i'm voicing my opinion, according to me. But I'm also certain that most people would agree with me, assuming they are rational people. I've yet to see anyone here actually think that forced fucking is better than our current situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/20 03:34 PM

In some ways, sure, in that many people are unhappy. But the current situation is much, much more preferable than one where people are forced to have sex
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/20 03:20 PM
16

yes, absolutely nothing should be done on a large scale. What some very radical dudes legitimately believe is that people should be forced to have sex/date other people when they don't want to, which is incredibly dystopian

I'm sorry that this happened to you but this doesn't address the question at all. Statistics show you that the vast majority of people who sexually abuse children are men; the fact that most of the people who abused you personally were women has nothing to do with whether most people who abuse children in general are men. Your comment doesn't even attempt to contradict the premise of the question at all. It's like answering "why are most primary school teachers women?" with "that's not true, my …

not sure what you're trying to accuse me of, I'm not implying that it's okay to indulge in this mentality. I'm simply suggesting that this mentality is largely perpetuated by men in the first place (this is NOT the same as saying that most men perpetuate this), or in other words most of the people who perpetuate it are men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/20 10:09 PM

Is it just me or is the idea that men are DTF all of the time and never turn down sex with someone they find attractive, largely perpetuated by men? I've seen women perpetuate it too but it seems to be started by men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/20 12:01 PM
