Respect is based on fear. If she does not fear loosing you (because you have options) sooner or later you are going to get disrespected. Improve yourself and increase your options. No real other way.

"I am the prize" is not a strategy or something you force yourself into believing. It's simply a byproduct of being a high quality man. It naturally becomes the default frame. See Dan Bilzerian.

The key to relationship happiness is being happy before and outside the relationship. If you're looking for a relationship to make you happy you're doing it wrong and you're going to fail. Then you'll swallow the red pill.

I hacked a gf's facebook a few years back and since then I've always known that a keylogger is the quickest and surest way to seeing someone's true colors. I haven't looked at the meta of hacking techniques for the last couple of years but I have a feeling that device recognition and login notification alerts being turned on by default completely neutralize this approach. Anyone knows if there are ways around this? P.S. Apologies to the mods if this is out of line... feel free to remove

TBH, people are just not built for monogamy, and it shows in posts like that. Exactly. Men and women are alike on this, even though we're committed to someone, we can't help but feel tingles for others and have fantasies ("what if?", "what would it be like?"), especially after long periods. The Red Pill acts as if it's something unique to women... then wonders why it gets accused of misogyny...

I wasn't even aware it was a thing before I discovered TRP. Same here. Isn't it weird that frame is well known only within this community? Like, for such an important concept, shouldn't there have been extensive research and plenty of compiled knowledge on the internet by now? Thanks for the link but I don't like Rollo's writings. However I found this post by the inventor of Gmail.

I understand your position and this question has bothered me for a long time as well: "why is it OK for me as a man to pursue sex, yet I judge women who do the very same thing? How is this fair?" Then I realized, it's simply because sex is not a symmetrical act for men and women. It does not have the same pre-requisites and most importantly, not the same consequences. If I have kids one day the idea of my daughter having sex pre-marriage would probably make me hate myself, my son though, not so …

Be very careful not to fall in an external validation mental model though. The fact that you get rejected does not necessarily mean that there is something wrong with you, and the opinion of others should not define your self-worth.

I would just like to point out for those who haven't read it that the "slight edge" is just a fancy way of saying "discipline". I don't think the book is worthless or scammy, it's a good read that can fuel your motivation. But I've not found much new information in it and the central idea (the so called slight edge) is certainly not the life hack so many reviewers make it out to be. The TLDR of the book is: be consistent in doing the actions that serve you and over time you'll get results. Just …

How does practicing a martial art combine with lifting? The idea of signing up for a krav maga class has been very tempting for me recently, however I am on the 5x5 program and the 5x5 guy who is obviously very knowledgeable about this stuff stresses the importance of resting and recommends not even doing cardio on the rest days. So my question is won't a krav maga class mess up with my lifting program?

I disagree with the hypergamy example. The only reason we don't see it as much in men is that men approach, but women get approached. That means for a woman to "upgrade" from a partner to a higher value one all she has to do is to "accept" when the opportunity presents itself, while the man has to work to create this upgrade opportunity. Loyalty due to lack of opportunities is not really loyalty. Arguably Chad (high SMV male with lots of opportunity) Alfa widowing chicks left and right and not s…

I didn't cheat on weight. Started with the empty barbell adding 2kg each time as SL suggests. At some point it started to become really hard keeping lower back neutral when putting the barbel down on deadlifts.

OK. What do your psychic powers tell you about squats and bench presses on the smith machine? Are they worth something or am I wasting my time? If I video recorded my exercises would you help?

I'm 30 years old, 85kg 1m85 tall. Played a lot of tennis and soccer. Squats become really hard at 66kg and deadlifts at 80 kg, overhead and bench at 40kg. Does that help?

I'm a beginner on SL 5x5. I have no coach and no one to help on the gym. I do squats on the smith machine since there is no power rack. I try to do proper form and keep my lower back neutral but I noticed that the heavier the weight, the harder it becomes to keep doing proper technique especially on deadlift. Will I injure myself? Should I buy that belt on the back? Any advice?

At the same time, we start to wonder how in the world we are seeing losers with hot girls and how guys who aren't that spectacular on the outside manage to get hot girls. It doesn't make sense to us and we can't rationalize it. Because we miss the point, SMV isn't objective, it is perceived and that's what actually matters. Another reason for this is that a key component of attractiveness isn't immediately visible, and that is frame.

Life is a competition and generally speaking people don't like it when you're ahead of them. This is for me one of the most important RP lessons. They'll try to break you or take advantage of you and this is one reason why a strong frame is critical and why it's a bad idea to seek validation in others. "Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambition. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."

Attracts women when you are walking your dog. I ve picked up so many chicks this summer walking my sis's cute yorkie. Chicks would go crazy about him and I'd approach with something like "can I give it to you as a gift?" Then follow up with "but you have to take me with him" they usually laugh or smile and I end up with a number.

Women don't need to be muscular. They only need to be not fat, which can be achieved simply by eating properly, or running at worst. The rest is natural beauty/dressing/make up.

what you believe is that I use my vocabulary to sound impressive to cover for some lack of content. Not at all. What I believe is that your ideas (and RP wisdom in general) are far too valuable to let them get obstructed by a complex writing style. The clearer the language they're presented in, the more people can benefit from them. Sorry if I expressed myself badly. Peace.

I really don't see it as a question of intelligence. There are many smart people for whom english is not the native language. My whole point was why not try to reach them as well, but whatever.
/r/TheRedPill07/09/16 12:20 PM

Sure, but isn't a writer's goal (at least one of them) is to maximize your audience and reach? Overtly complex language is just something that gets in the way of achieving that goal.

You have no idea how many books I read buddy. I have never seen someone who writes like him. Good writing is a deliberate attempt to sound natural, his writing is a deliberate attempt to sound impressive.

This may sound rude but it's meant with the best of intentions. If you want to increase your reach you should write in simpler english. It seems to me that your writing style is incomprehensible for people without a PHD in english literature. I tried reading your articles but I give up mid-way every time.

"Someone who does you an injury hurts you twice: first by the injury itself, and second by taking up your time afterward thinking about it. If you learn to ignore injuries you can at least avoid the second half. I've found I can to some extent avoid thinking about nasty things people have done to me by telling myself: this doesn't deserve space in my head. Very good post. I always saw the red pill as a subset of something larger than dating and that is the bitter truth about human nature and the unspoken rules that govern the world. I just wish I'd learned about it earlier instead of the Disney bullshit I was swimming in.

I like the analysis but the advice seems a little too extreme. Basically what you're saying amounts to: "if she's not having perfect behavior she absolutely is not worth of your time". It seems to me that you can be Brad fucking Pitt and that would still not be a reasonable expectation. Plus shitty behavior can be a shit test, we don't run away from these do we?

Damn, Alpha widowhood is the reason I can't come to terms with the idea of marrying a non virgin. If you're not the best cock she's ever had you're pretty much setting yourself up for a failed marriage. And that's something out of one's control, self improvement only goes so far, you can't change your face or your penis' size, for example.
