Keep having sex with her, keep being friends with her. What is a girlfriend? It's a friend you are close with and have sex with. I think she will get feelings for you sooner or later if you're having sex and doing cute shit together (cuddling, cooking dinner, etc). The most important thing is that you let her come to that conclusion. She already said no to a relationship so don't push it. Play it cool, or she will see that you're too needy to handle just sex and cut you off completely. You can h…

I'm not sure how I feel about meeting up again. Assuming you're doing this whole thing to move on, how can meeting up with "the one who got away" help you to move on if you still have feelings for her? My brain is telling me that it's amazing advice, but that's only because I still miss her. I feel like intentionally seeing her again would remind me of all the things I've been trying so hard to forget. Maybe I'm just not very rational, but if we're really talking about "the one who got away" and…

You want to climb out of the friendzone while she's in a relationship? That'll mean either stopping being her "friend", or trying to take her from her current boyfriend. From personal experience I wouldn't recommend the latter, but it's up to you. Make sure you're clear on why you enjoy talking to her if you want to keep doing it. If you have feelings for her it'd be best to stop so you don't get oneitis. You might become the guy she comes to with all of her problems but none of her sex. Otherwi…

I definitely don't intend on pursuing. I got involved with the other girl who pulled this on me, and she broke my heart. Cheaters aren't good people. What I'm wondering is how I should react during the fact. I just feel embarrassed and have to pretend like I wasn't pursuing them romantically from the start. I'm not sure what kind of message that sends as compared to being honest and saying something along the lines of "why didn't you tell me you had a boyfriend?"

That was really motivating, thanks. You're a strong man for not acknowledging your ex when she texted you, I think I would've caved.

Amazing advice. I lost a similar fwb from getting too clingy and trying to push a relationship on her. I'll keep this in mind for the future.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
