You disbelieve that monogamy created the social stability that was conducive to economic growth? No, I don't. Agriculture and advanced weapons systems in warfare was far more important than fucking one woman for the rest of your life. Wow. Read just about any book on the subject; ie: http://www.amazon.com/Marriage-Civilization-Monogamy-Made-Human/dp/1621572013 . I find arguments that rely on claims about how people lived in prehistoric times singularly unpersuasive. The simple fact is that we ha…

Meh I once thought the same thing, but upon closer review it seems that civilization could also have been the cause of the monogamy tradition and not the effect. And what about successful polygamist civilizations such as the ottoman turks? Still very patriarchal, but they didn't feel the need to pedestalize pussy. My point: There have been good and bad monogamous and polygamist civilizations. e.g. Bad monogamy = the middle ages.

Monogamy and Patriarchy are a kind of optimization of resource management which then translates to a strong fast growing society. Lol how does fucking one pussy for the rest of my life translate into a fast growing society? Where is your proof of this ever happening...? I have read sex & culture by Unwin, but I'd like to see if there has ever been any hard anthropological evidence beyond a book from 1934.

These guys can shed more light on my feelings about the puritan/feminist connection in the west. I don't have the time right now... Cowboys are in the playoffs.

rather that the resilience of cultural values In the united states the cultural values are based on victorian fairy tales that pedestalize females and shame male sexuality.

All Eastern-European countries were subject to at least half a century of Communist policies, and were Marxist through and through. But for some reason, they never experienced the sort of spoiled, bratty feminism that the West had to deal with The reason why the anglosphere has feminism and the eastern euros don't is due to puritanism.

Women value looks differently than we do. They want a good looking guy to show him off like a cute pet or accessory... We want good looking girls because they give us erections.

Well what about the Roman Siege of Jerusalem where they killed 1.1 million jews... Romans aren't seen in a negative light either. Even by religious cunts.

Go to any comedy club and ask a comic what they prefer... Calling a routine a "skit" is insulting to them.

Most 18 year old men period would behave the same way if they got fame and fortune at that age. Leonardo Dicaprio had more money and more fame at that age and he's never been married and still bangs a multitude of TOP LEVEL model gash.

I always wonder if Hitler will be vilified a few generations from now... Genghis Kahn killed way more people and he's remembered positively.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
