Its give and take. The probing questions are great because they lead to expansion. Its not just her than can expand though. It gives you opportunity to come up with one and conversation continues. Question after question after question will just get annoying.

Dont open her door. If it goes well and ya take her out again, on a clear date, then you can open the door. But at that point you are committing to doing that regularly in your relationship if it continues. Not every time you get in the car, but at least every so often

Sit next to her again if it doesn't seem to sketchy. If a lull in the lecture occurs or prof makes a joke, make an offhanded comment to her. Nothing complex. Just, something. You can gauge her response from there. At the end of the lecture as youre packing up is your time to really initiate conversation with her. Class isn't for picking up girls, it's to learn, and she seems pretty into that. Pick moments that dont distract from the lecture.

Love is prooobably a little overkill. However, just message her all friendly. "hey, its been forever! How have you been??" is simple, and acknowledges the length of time. However I'd probably do it over facebook if possible.
