We're coming at a time where females are graduating college at higher rates, while males are expected to do low pay labor, like unload 53' trucks at UPS. With females making higher salaries, will Alimony start favoring males? Will females be okay with marrying "down" like males were?I don't think current alimony laws are gendered. When my parents divorced in Ohio, my mother had to pay alimony to my father, since he'd been unemployed for years and she'd been working the whole time. (By this time, my siblings and I were all out of the house so child support was not an issue.) Maybe more men don't seek alimony because they're not aware of their rights? | /r/MensRights | 30/03/12 06:51 PM
Anyone in this sub ever type "define rape" in the google search bar?So I guess women who rape by forcing their vaginas into their mouths can be convicted of rape, but not if they force anything else into their vaginas. Hmm. | /r/MensRights | 15/03/12 02:22 AM
So women can have a baby using a sperm donor, can a single man have a baby using a "womb/egg donor"?In Canada it's illegal to pay for sperm, eggs or hire a surrogate. You can still acquire sperm or eggs, so long as they're donated, or use a surrogate, so long as they don't get paid (nor does anyone else get paid to arrange for them to be your surrogate). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assisted_Human_Reproduction_Canada | /r/MensRights | 14/03/12 04:07 AM
I'd like to share a personal achievement with you today. The origin of "midwife" breaks down to "with woman", and anyone can be with a woman, so "midwife" applies to midwives of either gender. | /r/MensRights | 05/03/12 07:58 AM
This subreddit needs to shake off its anti-women reputation for the sake of these issues being taken seriously. It's also a huge problem for any feminists to be anti-male. We shouldn't justify discrimination by pointing out that others discriminated first. MRAs and feminists should both value equality without sacrificing half the population's rights. | /r/MensRights | 05/03/12 04:29 AM
Is a school allowing girls to wear earrings but not boys a form of sexual discrimination?Thinking that children's bodies are sexual is not a crime. Thinking anything is not a crime. | /r/MensRights | 24/01/12 07:52 AM
Brave New World: UK ethicist wants women to abandon motherhood, use artificial wombsThis would probably be far more expensive than hiring someone with a functional uterus to be your uterus machine. Poor Indians are doing it for $2000. (Trailer for Made in India: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_k_h-Z-Lv2c) | /r/MensRights | 24/01/12 06:57 AM
