They would have to have framed the words of the agreement such that they can get away without the money going to Heard first. Which means her lawyers weren't on the ball and didn't see they could cut her out of it (such that she didn't get the tax advantages etc. and Depp did) If there were a legal way they could challenge this, they would already have been in court. +1 to Depp's lawyers. Hopefully this is the last we'll hear of Heard - I hope Elon keeps well away from her.

It could of course be that he had a different meaning in mind when he threw the "man up" statement in there. After all, its not really a manly way to whine, nag and moan about how you are mistreated.
