I appreciate the thoughts! I appreciate hearing from other women that I don't have to just "give him a chance", that I can change my mind at anytime, that I don't owe a man anything, and that I don't have to be nice to spare his poor, little feelings. I've learned a lot on fds and from women like you who reinforce the fact that I'm allowed to feel how I want and need to put my comfort first. I used to give everything to men I didn't even like because they were men and therefore deserved to be ca…

I've been talking to a guy for less than a month via text, never met in person. He asked a mutual friend for my number so I said ok. He was texting waaayyy too much, so much more than I'm comfortable with. Good morning, good night, all in between. He wished me happy valentines day. Wtf. He's basically a stranger, that's coming off far too strong for a guy I had been casually talking to for less than a week! I've really shut the door on the constant communication and he has picked up on it and sl…

Forrrreal. I (as a woman who looks white but actually am indigenous) went on a date with a MoC who I met at a street party. It started off great, he was engaging, well dressed, and well spoken, I thought he had a lot of promise but then he suggested a "game" where we had to take turns asking eachother questions. The (his) rules were that we had to answer truthfully and were not allowed to say no to the question asked. Flags so red they were on fire. It began with getting to know you questions bu…

Agreed, 4 years is not enough but damn are those 4 years going to be rough for that milquetoast looking man.

"I'm weird"? I think a more apt description would be "I'm a fucking creep".

Ugh. I went on a "date" with a guy from my building. He showed up 1. Late 2. Sweating and dripping like a he just crawed out a swamp 3. In sweat shorts and sloppy t shirt. 4. With zero communication, we sat in silence nearly the whole time and he would give brief, unengaing responses to my questions. The worst. He then has the audacity to text me a couple days later saying "you're no fun". The fuck? Bitch, I'm a hoot! These men are a damn waste of time and energy 🙄

No, I feel you. A while after that happened I was laid off and moving in with him was my only option, he never made any moves or acted untoward and it was financially a benefit but I was never as comfortable with him as I could have been if he didn't pull that grossness on me. We are on good terms but like I said, he's now kept at a distance and I will never forget!

Every. Single. One. Even the ones who were dating friends of mine have tried to pull some shit with me. One guy, who I believed was truly just a friend, asked me while we were just hanging out if he could play with my tits 🤮. He said "but they're just so big and nice" and when I told him absolutely not, he pulled the sulky "fine" line on me and was obviously disgruntled. Why he thought for a second that was ok I will never understand. Eventually I called him out on that and how shitty it made me…

I can't stand when guys go through the effort of showing what they used to look like, as if that's going to be enough to lure a woman in. Blech. Nobody is going to have sex with a person based off what they looked like years ago! It's like when a guy has to show off pics of his car because he knows his personality ain't gonna cut it. Show me who you are not what you have/what you were. Just reeks of insecurity!

I'm sorry that happened. It's so wrong when an act of kindness is turned into a gross act of depravity by some selfish man who has no issue with turning a vulnerable person into a victim.

Old scrotes are nasty as hell. No one wants your laffy taffy balls so keep your gross comments and behaviors to yoursves. I sat in the food court across from this young, pretty Asian girl and some old guy sat with her, she looked uncomfortable but was polite. But then, when he was leaving, he very obviously pretended to stumble and "accidentally" graze her breast. Just cause you're old and decrepit doesn't mean you can sexually assault women while feigning feebleness. Fucking disgusting.

Your intuition knows! There was this guy who was friends of a friend that I ended up hanging out with semi-regularly (always in groups) I could never warm up to him, he just gave me an off-vibe. He tried to hang out with me solo one night after everyone else left but I wasn't having it. He is now in prison for stabbing his girlfriend to death, going to his dad's house and stabbing him and his step mom to death, going back to his condo and living with his girlfriend's corpse for OVER A WEEK befor…

While this isn't exactly the same situation, my brother in law who has 4 kids with my sister, isn't a cheater or frequenter of prostitutes, LOVES to play the victim. Every time I see him without her, he goes on these tirades about how terrible she is, blames so much of what is wrong in their relationship on her and is always looking to get my sympathy vote. Like, dude I know you well enough to see how much you neg, hurl blame, shame, and guilt like grenades over the stupidest things, and continu…

I never accept drinks from men for this reason, I have been trapped into convos way too many times because a man spent a generous $5 on me 🙄. After learning my lessons and being able to afford my own drinks, they got sneakier and sent drinks via waitress, then sidle up next to me because I never got the chance to say no. Tricky fuckers. They know it would be a no so they take away the choice. Next time I'll be sending any drink from a man right back with the waitress!

He tried to convince me he was 'crazy' kind of used that a as fear tactic, like would tell me that he was so crazy that if I left there was no telling what he would do. I believed him enough to feel trapped for years. Turns out he wasn't crazy, just manipulative and I was a damn fool!

We were 22 and drunk when he proposed without a ring on the dance floor of a seedy bar on New Years. Funny how that didn't work out. The more I think about that relationship/marriage, the harder I shudder at the choices that I thought were great at the time. He also gave me an ultimatum when I expressed concern over our financial state and maybe putting the wedding off; was told we get married as planned or break up. Poor young, stupid me. Wish I had FDS all those years ago!

Old scrotes thinking they're swimmers are the catch of the day? More like a dusty can of sardines.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
