Lol when did I ever say it was men's fault?? Mental illness is far too complex to blame on people.

A dash of DBT here- I didn't say it was witch hunt-y, I said it feels that way to me personally, because I feel as though it's going to be used to validate some kind of gender inequality. That could totally not be your intention but I can just forsee people weaponizing nebulous information and saying that idk sociopathy is a male trait or something like that. Anything that potentially promotes selective breeding makes me feel ehhhh

For real though that guy was a clown. He had a porn star's autograph tattooed on his arm.

Most people who have been professionally diagnosed with ASPD are men and in prison, but who knows how many go undiagnosed. I don't think it's safe to say that sadism/sociopathy is confined to one gender over another- feels a little witch hunt-y.

How are you today during this wild west-esque ppd purge?

All that being said though, I do agree with you that it is wrong for some men to feel entitled to sex/relationships.

I'd say it's a loss in general to outright hate an entire group of people. Hate is a horrible, gut-wrenching feeling to have and while you might be profitting fiscally, it's not fulfilling in the long run. Maybe you chose your words deliberately to get a rise out of people, but if you're actually feeling hate towards all ugly people my heart goes out to you- it takes a lot of energy and brain power to hate and in general it just hurts.

Your loss, there's so many amazing kick ass people who aren't stereotypically/conventionally attractive.

1) no, I mean being flirted with is uncomfortable sometimes but generally I'm not offended. Example of offensive flirting is this one guy in the psych ward who told me that with my problems I'd never survive in the real world but he'd take care of me and treat me like a princess🙄 2)idk only had one, but I'd imagine that as long as you know how to play with the clit, you're golden.

I don't think anyone deserves lonliness and misery persay, but they often perpetuate it by shifting blame and being hateful/rapey. That being said, no one is automatically entitled to relationships/sex either. It's good that you are able to separate yourself from the delusions and I hope you don't feel too much shame around associating with them because it's an easy hole to fall in to and it preys on people who have been hurt. Whether this is a troll post or not, I wish you well brother, do nice…

It's normally a relatively chill subreddit. There are a lot of people who genuinely want to understand and learn new things. That being said, there are some nutbars on here, myself included haha

It's easy to see yourself as the common denominator- that's often a response to trauma. If we find fault in only ourself, that means we have control in some capacity. I spent so much time focusing on fixing and changing myself only to learn that I can't see myself as responsible for every shitty thing that happens. It sucks to come to terms with, but sometimes people hurt us and it doesn't mean the problem is solely with us. That being said, there is the extreme on the other end, which is blame …

Now would being fat really be the worst thing in the world? Personally, I think being an ornery, spiteful person would be far worse.

Also if you yourself are struggling with an eating disorder I hope you're able to find treatment- EDs are ruthless and I don't wish it upon anyone.

Hm I somehow don't think that's very likely and something tells me that you're just trying to get a rise out of me during the blessed purge week. Also I'm very proud of my square jaw, thank u for editing that in.

While you are correct that males with EDs are often overlooked or shamed into being quiet because of gender role norms, that doesn't make it easier for women. In fact, by saying that all women need to do is be thin and wear makeup, you honestly sound like my disorder. But I digress, with mental illness, everyone gets the shit end of the stick and there's no genuine satisfaction that comes from a misery dick measuring contest.

Lol it wasn't easy to have anorexia. My loved ones put me through expensive ass treatment to learn how to eat and think and I still read posts like this and a part of me thinks, "yeah I'd rather die than be fat." That's crazy people speak. I think you're entitled to your opinion, but from a therapeutic standpoint, black and white thinking is very hurtful for you and those around you.

I guess if you're looking through the perspective of a traumatized person, no you don't have to be grateful that you're not being beaten. For instance, my mom used to always tell me I should be grateful that she never beat me lol even though it's generally expected that you don't physically abuse your loved ones(but mental/emotional abuse? Just fine lol). In general though I think it's pretty shitty to always think the grass could be greener unless you're talking about career opportunities.

There are non-hateful incels and I believe in general that people should take an empathetic approach to dealing with those who are struggling. I have a parent with strong cluster B traits and while it's hard to not respond to/match the explosive anger thrown at you, you have to separate the misplaced anger and hate from the underlying hurt. Personally I don't think we should match their hate, it's only going to validate their twisted beliefs. I think we should be more open to listening and educa…

Lol I mean you have every right to be verbally spiteful towards people even if it's unwarranted, but I personally advise against it(I'm no saint either though haha). That being said, in some situations where people are being shitheads, laying the verbal smackdown on someone can be -chefs kiss- justice.

This might be the anorexia speaking but I'll take the latter.

Lol as long as you never use your words as a weapon to hurt people I believe it should be okay to have opinions, even if they're not supported by the media(which honestly just oscillates between auth left and auth right). My youngest sibling is trans so that's what really helped me to form my opinion and led me to the belief that gender and sex are different.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/20 05:01 AM

Hmm weird it's almost as if people have sexual preferences or something lol I also believe trans women are women but that doesn't mean straight men automatically have to find them attractive. Just like cis women, women of all kinds vary in attractiveness.

I've seen women featured on there too- it's a subreddit for people who genuinely don't understand women's anatomy or the fact that women are human. I find it really funny especially since I used to be one of those 'not like the other girls' girls who used trauma to shape my opinions of the world lol it makes me grateful for all my therapy.

Magnum PI era Tom Selleck and Krysten Ritter. I can't explain exactly why but they're both very hot to me??

Farts are funny and the day I stop laughing at farts is the day I die. Before I started dating my bf, I stalked his vine at the time and he dead ass posted himself farting in the school bathroom and that's how I knew he was a man of fine taste. That being said, I'm less inclined to laugh when I'm choking on butt fumes so smelly farts are a no from me.

Incels who are just struggling people but aren't hateful? Fine. The loud majority of incels that are hateful and racist and seek to spread their ideology like the latter day saints? Not fine, just as it's not fine for anyone to be blatantly spiteful. Personally, I think this sub is supposed to be a place for people to explain their ideologies and debate, not shit on the opposition with no intention of ever broadening your beliefs and that goes for both hateful feminists and hateful incels.

Yeah, I personally think they're equally shitty. They both entail toying with emotion for personal gain. Same flavor of manipulation if you ask me lol.

Unfortunately, we're usually not better off safe than sorry when it comes to forming connections(a hard pill to swallow for myself as well lol). Much of the redpill ideology reminds me of my AvPD self in that people are given a reason to avoid hurt by anticipating rejection/preemptively rejecting others. I've seen glimpses of the other side and although it's tough, letting down your guard and connecting with people is ultimately a worthy endeavor. I'm sorry you've been hurt and I wish you well.

My dad did this for years for my mom: he catered to her every request and enabled so much of her toxic behavior towards the rest of the family. I might be biased, but I don't think idolizing anyone is healthy.

Shit man I wish I had the bold face confidence of the women you described. Imagine believing that you not only deserve what you have, but dead ass believing that you deserve more. Granted, I am not exactly neurotypical, but I doubt I'm the only one having a hard time getting into that frame of mind. I personally don't subscribe to the idea that most females are hypergamists, but I can't read minds, I can only speak for myself. I'm sure hypergamy exists as long as sociopathic tendencies are still…

I'm very glad you have a good relationship with food! However, some food for thought, I used to say the same thing because I deadass believed I wasn't 'skinny enough' to have an ED. They take on many shapes and sizes haha

I sometimes peruse this subreddit just to understand the perspective of red-pillers, but some of what you said really concerns me. Granted, I'm a stranger on the internet and my opinion most likely doesn't matter, but but based on my personal experience, you sound like you might struggle with disordered eating or are at least at risk for an ED. This was never expressed to me growing up, but it is not normal to fixate on one's appearance in this manner. Extreme fixation on physical appearance is …

I'm sure many women feel drawn to men of high social standing/wealth, presumably stemming from a need for stability. Personally, I'm not really into Machiavellian men, but maybe that's just my arrogant pride talking.

Nah, my bf and I used to split or rotate payment(when I was employed, that is) because I'm somewhat of a prideful nutbag with a suspected nparent, so when people 'treat me like a princess' it generally raises red flags and I often question the intention behind it. Personal bias aside, I just think it's important for relationships to feel equal.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
