Why do talk show hosts have to have a seat that's a foot higher than their guests?

What? I thought everyone lived and breathed America and everything on Entertainment Tonight where the real news lives! Did you know that Victoria's Secret will not have a fashion show? How will western civilization survive?

The pay gap is still about womyn's choices. One source of the current gap is the fact that women still take more time off from work to care for their families. These family responsibilities may also affect the kinds of work they choose.

I don't fear marriage, I fear the divorce that follows like night follows day. I can't imagine any woman worth the risk to give up half (or more) of my assets. Pre-nup you say? Only if a judge agrees with it at divorce-time. My neighbor had a pre-nup tossed out of court because his soon-to-be ex-wife convinced the judge she really didn't understand the terms and conditions when she signed it. Wham! She didn't work and still got to claim half of his earnings made during the marriage.

Well that's exactly it. Back in the 90's I was written up for sexual harassment complaint made by a woman. I had posted a handout on a company message board that I had gotten from an IT conference. This counted as sexual harassment: Why Client Server Computing is like Teenage Sex It is on everybody's mind all the time. Everyone is talking about it all the time. Everyone thinks everyone else is doing it. Almost no one is really doing it. The few who are doing it are: a) doing it poorly; b) sure i…

But but, that was just muh friendly "tune up" scrimmage. Of course, this match against the academy team was very informal and should not be a major cause for alarm. The U.S. surely wasn’t going all out, with the main goal being to get some minutes on the pitch, build chemistry when it comes to moving the ball around, improve defensive shape and get ready for Russia.

Even though she has found lasting success as an actress and swimwear designer, Elizabeth Hurley revealed in an interview with Red magazine that, 'It would be fantastic to fall in love with someone wonderful.' Hurely admits to having great relationships with all of her exes, her most famous being actor Hugh Grant, but their breakups made her realize what she really wants in a partner. Give her a call, gents. I'm sure she will give you the time of day.

When I bought my current house one of the shower drains was clogged like the photo. The previous owner had a 16 year old daughter who didn't know (I presume) shower drain strainers have to be over the drain to work.

I broke an engagement because she was butt hurt that I did not care enough about the font and color of paper for the invitations to the wedding. All this buildup and planning and drama for one day? I was more concerned about life after the wedding. It looked like I was about to enter a shitstorm so I bailed out. That was back in 1981 and I don't regret the decision. You will feel bummed for a while but that feeling will subside as you appreciate all the peace and calm you're enjoying.

[She] reported the assault to police and she went to UMC where a sexual assault nurses examination was conducted and the results confirmed her story. But after the video was viewed the charges were dropped. This is shitty reporting which seems to suggest that she had sex but it was consenual. Wymyn never lie about rape, right? What is interesting is that the engineer who consulted on the Golden Gate bridge had a hand in the Tacoma Narrows bridge. Initial designs for the bridge by engineer Clark Eldridge were for a typical suspension bridge with 25-foot-high trusses under the road to stiffen the bridge and keep it from swaying too much. But the $11 million proposed design was costly. Engineer Leon Moisseiff — who consulted on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco — countered with a novel and aesthetically pleasing de…

Not only a lack of men teaching but the trend of men withdrawing from society. I refuse to be around kids because of hysteria. I remember shaking my head reading of the insanity of the Salem Witch Trials 300 years ago but then realize society hasn't changed much at all. I would agree it's crazy to call CPS because a parent loses sight of their child for a few minutes. But there's no telling how CPS would react to getting a call like that. The whole situation is insane but since society teaches us that all men are rapists people assume the worst.

And what's up with women watching shitty ass shows like Long Island Medium, Say Yes to the Dress, every Hallmark movie ever made, Hollywood Insider or Access Hollywood or some fucking thing with Hollywood in the title? That shit just rots your brain.

Where I live the mountain lions generally keep the outdoor cats thinned and now that I think about it my neighbor cat has not been over for a visit in the last few months. Hmm, maybe big kitty had lunch? Now that I think about it even more, my windows have probably killed more birds than outdoor kitties. Bad on me for that.

My neighbor constantly let's his cat out. It comes over to my house to prey on birds visiting my feeders. Don't let your cats out. New study shows that feline threat to birds is greater than previously thought. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/01/29/cats-wild-birds-mammals-study/1873871/

" I had this list of about 50 things I wanted in a man." Fifty! Has any man ever had a list of 50 things he wants in a woman? I'm down to one thing on my list, going my own way. "I wanted a man who is 6 foot 5, then 6 foot 4 and now I'm down to 6 foot 3" Good luck with that. At 6' 3" that you've eliminated nearly 80% of men. http://www.allcountries.org/uscensus/230_cumulative_percent_distribution_of_population_by.html

To my surprise most of the People article comments from women were condemning the teacher. The men were mostly commenting that the rape was a dream come true for the male students.

I fucked up and got married and ended up divorced 33 months later. I could not believe how much things changed after the wedding. Inside of 10 months sex was history. She moved to a different state just after 2 years. Thankfully no kids and the divorce was not a financial disaster. That was 26 years ago and I will never get married again. I was grateful to have dodged what could have been much worse. Don't ever get married.

Actually the contract thingy would be the way to go. a contract clearly spells out the rights and responsibilities of each party and the consequences of not following the contract. Instead we have this marriage law which a judge gets to interpret every time a guy ends up in court.

And yet if she had followed the State Department rules regarding email on personal servers she would have never had this problem. The FBI would not have been in her hair. Her complaints about the FBI would be like me blaming the cop because he caught me speeding. Or George Bush blaming the cop who caught him drunk driving years earlier which became an issue 3 days before the 2000 election.
