Aw man, I laughed because of that and now I feel like a dick because it was such a nice comment.

Well yeah, in the real world. In their version of reality, you'd think people well giving me free stuff all the time.

I would disagree. What you see glorified is a male diva persona, the gay best friend trope. I do not receive special treatment from the government, nor society at large. I am not particularly oppressed, but I don't benefit unduly either. I would be interested to hear where and how you think men who have sex with other men are given special treatment.

Actually, just to add a whole layer of confusion, it can be taken to mean 'omit' or 'leave out', as in 'there is no way they would ignore/omit that [transgression]'.

Also as someone explained to me recently, feminism is "Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies aimed at defining, establishing, and defending equal political, economic, and social rights for women." - wikipedia. Egalitarian "is a trend of thought that favors equality for all people" - wikipedia. So egalitarian seems to be what he might want.

While I get that you're livid, it's not even worth worrying about her. She's clearly a goddamn idiot and discarding someone's opinions because of their orientation or colour is shitty. Also that checklist is straight up retarded. People get interrupted by assholes, regardless of the gender of said asshole.

Well, to be clear, you're equating feminists with women. Those are overlapping but not identical groups.

Not at all. If you're a gay/bi male, you're basically considered to have privilege that lesbians and trans people do not have.

You know that not all gay dudes have anal, right? That being said, I dunno why you were voted down, the majority of people are heterosexual, so yeah, most guys (i.e. the majority of people who commit attacks on homosexual males) would prefer to see naked women than naked men.

Interestingly that's a similar logic to protesting men's rights events at universities: 'if you discuss your issues separately, we can't discuss ours'.

I had literally never heard of this issue until right now. How did FGM become such a popular issue and not this?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
