I watched the video. Maybe my IQ isn't high enough, but he said "or involuntary lethal injection"

I don't know man. If you're so insecure, that someone wearing a shirt to try and promote more female makes you give up on a brand or a show, maybe it's not about the person wearing the shirt. Just like when bud light sent one can to one trans person and the right in the US lost their collective shit. Just because something markets to someone other than you, doesn't mean it is against you. It's not like her shirt said "the force hates men"

No. What makes boomers guilty is pulling the ladders up behind them every where they went. No more pensions. No more healthcare. No more affordable housing. Boomer policy after boomer policy after boomer policy.

I just don't think blaming the women in this situation is the solution.

It's also not accurate. I just did the same thing and both have "tips" I'm guessing OP either did a different Google search after the word "husband" or this is disingenuous in some other way.

"Red pill" isn't that popular outside of the Internet. MRA isn't popular because it gets lumped with dudes getting mad over bullshit and thinking all women are out to get them with other dudes who are actually getting screwed over by court systems and such.

a) you individually werent being called a rapist. It was more a thought experiment that women dont know what that man in the woods will do, but they know what the bear will do and they can stay away from the bear. the bear isnt going to stalk her to her house, the bear wont memorize what car she drives, the bear wont put an airtag on her car. all these things women in my life have had happen to them. b) im a man, and i didnt feel like I was called a rapist, because Im not a rapist. Even then one person does not have to give up their life for another. It'd be different if the pro life crowd was also pro daycare reform, pro parental leave, pro better post partum care, or pro anything other than the fucking birth of a child. I'm speaking of the US as that is where I live. Plus, these fuckwits have shown that if you compromise in the slightest, they'll take everything. Over here, miscarriage a are being criminalized for fucks sake.

What life? What innocent? The ball of cells with no consciousness? Even if it is life, you're not beholden to another. You aren't forced to donate an organ, or any medical procedure to save another. You don't want an abortion? Don't get one. You don't want kids, and don't want to be a father? Wear a condom and get a vasectomy. Anti abortion laws do nothing but seek to criminalize women. Do not equate abortion to Men's Rights. Just don't.

Dude. What. Now you're just using hyperbole. I get that it's important to you, and that's great. But is not worse than rape. Misandry has nothing to do with it. Me thinking rape is worse than circumcision has nothing to do with pandering. Men (and baby boys) can and are raped. And that is worse then circumcision. Your evidence is that it hurts and babies can die. What do you think can happen if a baby is raped? It hurts, and they could die. Go get therapy and stop being so angry. Especially with…
/r/MensRights23/06/23 03:26 PM

It's not because rape is buzzword. Rape is awful and horrendous. Mentally and physically. And the intention behind it adds to the terribleness of it. Rape is worse than circumcision. I'm not saying circumcision is A-ok. Just that it isn't worse than rape.
/r/MensRights23/06/23 11:53 AM

I don't have a son. But I'm circumcised and I'm a lot more ok than if I'd been raped. Rape is worse.

Yes. Just based on how my wife and her friends talk, women definitely talk more. And they are also a lot more, at least openly, pervy with celebs. Like, openly lusting over celebrities. It's weird sometimes.
/r/MensRights23/05/23 02:02 PM

Sure if I'm talking right to her, and even then I could still say "they" it would be acceptable. Saying they doesn't diminish someone's actual identity in anyway, and it helps be more inclusive.
/r/MensRights02/04/23 12:55 PM

Because a lot of them stop focusing on rights and start focusing on blaming/hating women. If they stay focused on men's mental health, men's issues in court, and that kind of thing, they'd be fine.

It's illegal to hire or discriminate on the basis of sex, creed, religion and I think in some states sexual orientation. But you can have certain programs in certain hiring initiatives that reach out to those protected classes to have a wider pool as long as you don't hire based on that criteria. Privately funded scholarships and/or internships though can get around that, just like some Christian organizations can not outright say the person has to be Christian, but they can hire based on the fa…

So... I'm in recruiting and worked at a place that successfully implemented increased diversity without suffering from poorer candidates. You can't still recruit from only the top schools, this is what you end up with. You have to open up your recruiting pool to a wider pool and then select the best. Just by simply putting the opportunity in front of people will increase your diversity. Those top candidates from top schools know about the opportunities and know how to find out about opportunitie…

What a shitty thing to say. "Hey I was beat up by the guy my mom married" "That sucks but you never know what he went through" GTFO.

Then this saying does not apply to you. It's exactly what it means. He married a woman, and chose a kid as well when he didn't have to. There's nothing wrong with it and there is no reason for you to feel pressured to do it, nor feel like it applies to you.

Years ago and they actually talked men getting screwed in custody hearings, falsely accused of things and terrible processes on college campuses, boys falling behind in school, etc. Now it's just... I used it because the guy I replied to used it. This sub rarely talks about actual men's rights anymore. At least the ones that get the most upvotes. But, enjoy the echo chamber. I've been subbed here for years, because the posts used to resonate with my concerns on actual rights issues. Now though... Nah. Just a bunch of dudes complaining to a bunch of dudes about how big and mean and scary women are.
/r/MensRights24/07/22 02:05 PM
-31

I used to like this sub when it talked primarily about actual men's rights like in court, with custody issues, and mental health awareness issues. But lately, most of the top posts are complaining about women. It's not incel, yet, but it's on the path.
/r/MensRights24/07/22 01:27 PM

thats just not true. I am sorry that whatever happened to you in your life makes you distrust most of the people in your life. I hope you find happiness and friends/family you can trust.
/r/MensRights22/07/22 04:51 PM

And this is how people get radicalized. Not this guy in particular, but steps like this. Women are not big and bad and scary. Yes there are some things in life that are wrong, especially court system and its treatment of men. But most women don't hate men, most aren't out to trick you or trap you with a child. Go live your life and don't be scared.

You realize they mean support right? Like by being quiet on these issues, you essentially agree with what's happening. No uterus no opinion means no passing laws if you aren't impacted by it. You're just being obtuse on purpose. This sub sucks now.

That's not at all what I said. Ever. The incel subject was directed at this subs general direction of not talking about men's rights and instead basically just complaining about women. I said he overreacted. Which he did. He could have stayed and explained why he was upset. Like all she did was say what initially attracted her to him. Yes. These are actual issues that men's rights should be worried about, not some of the posts that get upvoted in this oftentimes echo chamber of "people hate me because I'm a man" Which, can be a valid thought, but sometimes i feel like that's all I see in this sub.

Pretty much all feminists change their tune a bit after having boys. One prominent feminist had a son who was accuses of sexual assault or rape on college campus, and after she saw how much injustice was involved, she changed what she had to say about it.

For real. You can't even say "men's rights" without people jumping down your throat. It's literally about Father's rights in family court, women and men being treated differently in criminal court, and men's health issues like higher rates of suicide, and the fact that boys are falling behind in education. It's also about pointing out a lot of myths feminists like to push, so that's what makes it mysoginist.

Except people more talk about how women couldn't hold land, vote, have property really of any kind, etc.

That's fair. I got one I like a lot. The main reason was for a music fest i was going to, and my old backpack just wasn't cutting it anymore. Now, I find myself using the backpack for more and more things. It's a Teton Rock 1800. http://www.tetonsports.com/Backpacks/backpack-main.htm It's pretty great. For the record, I don't work for them or anything. Just like the backpack haha

What about a backpack? Nice ones that are good enough for what'd you put in a handbag aren't too expensive.

That's how most feminism is working. Especially in schools. In order to lift up girls, boys must first be torn down.
/r/MensRights20/07/16 04:08 PM

Exactly. Someone's life can be ruined a lot easier when you don't have to actually go through the legal process.

Wouldn't an 18 year old guy get sentenced in some form for having sex with a 15 year old anyway?
/r/MensRights25/09/15 04:39 PM

You have to remember. Their definition of rape also includes drunk sex. So, in college, by their definition, there is a lot of "rape". Not real rape. But regret sex rape and no consent forms signed rape, and such.

Exactly my point. There aren't any. Instead I'm stuck wearing closed toed shoes when the women are wearing "peep" shoes or sometimes shoes I consider to basically be sandals with a wedge attached to the back.
/r/MensRights29/05/14 09:57 PM

I had some similar issues at work and some of the female co-workers got pretty heated when I said some of the things some of them wear are not on the same level as "professional" as a shirt and tie, and just because you add high heels to it, it doesn't make it fancier. Also, why the fuck can't I wear open toed shoes?

To follow up...you can even get ICU care without insurance. Hospitals keep you until you're safe. My wife is a surgical/trauma ICU nurse. They've had homeless patients with no insurance stay for a couple weeks until they moved to the floor where they stayed for a while longer. Where no insurance gets you, besides the bills, is the post hospital care. Believe or not, hospitals want to heal better. Especially the nurses and doctors.

I've seen several quotes saying "put on your big girl panties" it's kind of the same thing. Kids want to be adults so we tell boys to be men and girls to be women.

I've been thinking about this issue, and the issue of bullying overall. I'm no philosopher or psychologist, nor do I have kids, so this is just an opinion of a 26 yr old male who was raised to be tough, and "man up" when necessary, like during sport events, or practice, when the rest of the team was looking for a leader and no one else was going to be that leader and your dad/coach looks at you and gives you that look that every son has received from his father or make role model. Anyway, mannin…

This article doesn't explain what the program taught and why it's a Men's Rights issue. Can someone else explain and/or link to some articles?
/r/MensRights07/11/13 04:55 PM

I understand your point. It's "for the kids" so the other kid's dad should pay. Not this one.
/r/MensRights15/10/13 09:04 PM
1

Who is saying he's abandoning his kid? My argument is solely the fact that he shouldn't have to pay extra because his ex-wife got knocked up by some other dude. That's it. That's my argument.
/r/MensRights15/10/13 08:59 PM

The mother should get increased child support from the father of that child. Not the guy who had nothing to do with its birth. I'm not sure if you're this dumb or just a decent troll.
/r/MensRights15/10/13 08:43 PM

I never said it was. But, the kid that is causing the increase is not his.

Ok...look...I'm all for equality for men, especially since I'm a man, and marriage/child custody laws are ridiculously skewed toward women. But...crap like this isn't going to help. If you marry a woman like this, it's your fault. We all possess an ability to read people. If you're blinded by the tail you're getting, that's your fault. Be up front with the woman from the beginning. Treat her how you expect to be treated; with respect, kindness, caring, etc. If you do all this, and really pay att…

When it's a rape case like this one, of course they're going to believe the girl. She had already shown she was willing to lie about it, why would he risk 41 yrs? It would have been the big bad football player's word, against the poor little teenage girl. In California, you know who the jury is going to side with in that case.

Well...the article makes good points, but someone needs to proofread that before posting it. Grammar counts. A lot of people will discount claims and arguments when the grammar has that many mistakes. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just want people who make valid points to have their opinions argued on merit and not grammar.

This should be submitted to r/bestof. I'm on my phone, and I don't know how to do it. But, as a guy who has know 4 or 5 other guys who have killed themselves, this seems appropriate.

Well it doesn't really matter why she was reported. What matters is it was reported and the law was broken. Is it a dumb law? Yes. They're both in high school. But, A law was broken and she is being charged with a crime. Her crime wasn't being in a homosexual relationship. Her crime was lewd and lascivious behavior. I was wrong in saying statutory rape. What if the case was a boy instead having a relationship with 14-15 yr old? Would we have even heard about it? Probably not. And if we did peopl…

Of course people would care. Just sensationalist headlines like this get better views. If you only read the headlines you would think she is being punished because she's gay. Not because she committed statutory rape. Technically. Edit: The crime she committed was lewd and lascivious behavior. Not statutory rape. Apologies.

Fair enough. Speaking of which, in my state, a woman was walking her dog, she says a man was running at her, she told him to stop. Apparently he did not stop so she shot him. Authorities are leaning towards self defense.

Wait wait wait. Is this real? As in is this an actual widespread opinion? That by making people prove they're the father, it is somehow damaging to the mother? Most people who have been acting as the father will continue to be there for the child if he finds out he's not actually the father. It's hard to believe we're in a world where actual fairness and equality are treated as something harming another group. Happened to a friend of mine: Thought he was the dad, loved the kid like his own, foun…

Easy bro. I'm a guy too. I just don't see what murder has to do with men's rights. I'm all about men's rights. Well I'm about equality in every true sense of the word (as in everyone is treated fairly and equally in a court of law, with rights to marriage, etc.)

In the U.S., each state determines its own age of consent. The majority of states' age of consent is 16 http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_North_America If you something sexually illegal with someone under the age of 18, that person is considered a minor. If I'm reading it correctly, that means if you use a 17 yr old for prostitution, it is prostituting a minor. But, as far as a 35 yr old getting jiggy with a consenting 16 yr old, most states that's fine. Edit: further reading abo…

Question: what if both the man and woman in a marriage work. Then they get divorced. Do both pay alimony to each other? Or does only the man pay the woman? Also, what if the wife makes more than than the husband? And how does this affect child support?

Holy crap. I thumbed through a Cosmo the other day. It was from the past October I believe. One of the articles was "How to Spot the College Racist", as part of their Campaign Against College Sexual Assault, or something. Then, just a few pages later "Why Sex with Older Men is Better". W. T. F. No wonder young girls think every guy their age is out to rape them. After all only older men (30+ according to Cosmo) are worth having sex with. The rest are either selfish in bed or trying to rape you.

Those 3 things are a pretty serious par of HR. And just because your company doesn't use it, doesn't mean no companies should. It can be helpful to have a few people "vetting" applications so that when it is time to hire someone, the person doing the hiring had (hopefully) the best candidates from a larger pool. Why should managers spend time looking at applications, resumes, and such or people who clearly do not meet qualifications?

I told some friends (a few wives and a gf) about the 1.1% statistic. They mostly laughed and said they didn't think a guy could get hard enough for that to work. And it would be pointless. Also, only if the woman was bigger than the man. Pissed. Me. Off. Also, I tried to say how rape was about power not sex and the conversation ended and everyone moved on.
