If I was that uncomfortable I would have left. FDS is about putting ourselves first (wouldnt be putting ourselves in a bad situation for a friend who wants doing anything to help us in the situation or given us a warning etc.). sitting around is in a way condoning the behavior and I guarantee all the guys did not notice your facial expressions and likely thought you were/are down. Dont take shit from anyone and always stand up for yourself and morals. Never put yourself in an uncomfortable situa…

This whole thing is horrible. But he states that she wasnt emotionally or physically harmed in anyway. Again makes speaking for us and for our experience.

Nice for two males to decide what is best for the female. She needs to divorce this unsupportive, unappreciative loser.

If a man asks you to sign a prenup, he also needs to provide financial consideration for your own separate attorney to review for YOUR best interests.

Yes! My sil was adamant she didn't want a diamond, she wanted a sapphire. My brother still went to a jeweler and put the sapphire in a platinum setting. I actually like her ring better than most diamond rings I see :)

It sounds like to me the problem isnt being a "spoiled brat" or "gold digger" but that the deeper concern/issue you may be feeling is his inability to stick his neck out for you. If this is arising now, I'd be concerned about the long term ability of him to support me (emotionally, mentally, spiritually etc, not just financially).

The whole point of an engagement ring is for the guy to prove his worth so to speak. Prove that he puts your above himselve, can be fiscally responsible, could provide for you, etc. Getting a cheap and fake ring only proves how lv he is and how little effort he puts on you and the relationship. The women ok with such a ring also arent valuing themselves, their time, nor worth.

"What story should I tell?" Classic, another LV male not wanting to take responsibility for his actions and he held accountable. Smdh

Came here to say just this! Never on even my most boring call did I ever think 'well, shit let me just run on out real quick. ' this guy has serious issues.

This is honestly something I've never thought of (ignorgantly enough and apologizes!). I would honestly love if you could expand on this a little bit more when you speak of the difference of white feminism and WOC feminism. As someone who tries to be painstakingly aware of color issues (saw first hand with my cousin issues and discriminate she faced), I want to ensure I am not making this mistake. Thanks!

If he truly cared, he'd be concerned about how many potential suitors would be reaching out to you in those three days ie hed try to keep you close. Time to move on def sis.

Typical. This could be changed to say men think they do mostly everything while only 3% of women agree.

Leave him. He "deserves it." But seriously, 26 is YOUNG however he doesnt deserve 1 more second of your time. You can do this! And get a new "friend."

He likely love bombed her incase she ever found out about you, he could more easily string her along. He didnt have to do that with you since he was single. Was he a narc? Who knows. But what is clear is how NV he was/is, and how much you deserve better. Dont let his actions I influence your worth!

Why do women seem to constantly feel the need to protect men even when it violates them, their property, and sence of well being? When will we just say eff it, they did this and can suffer the consequences, without feeling guilty?

Obviously with that hairline of his he needed to be insecure 🤣 in all seriousness, I worry for her. This controlling behavior and manipulation will only get worse as times goes on.

This is just LVMs stuck on their financial insecurities. If they find a girl not "interested" in a dude's money, they think they stand a better chance because they have none.

I have heard many times that men obsessed over large breasts are financial insecure.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
