Oh, you’re not bitter about it? Good to know. Have a nice day.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/22 05:43 PM

Oh my god it’s literally a fallacy and seen in many different areas of life I’m sorry, I just truly feel like this sub asks the most banal of questions and poses it as “why does this gender and only this gender do this guys women and men are so different wow” It’s not that they have zero expectations for relationships - they’re still complaining about you elsewhere. It’s just that they have already used up time with you and feel they can’t abandon it: the sunk cost fallacy. The Prospect Theory i…

And your response is still to just complain it’s not fair?

… sorry, what are you talking about? Don’t know what you’re trying to convey here. It sounds like you’re saying: “Megan Fox won’t have sex with me but “Chad” will have sex with average girl.” Chad would rather not fuck average girl. Chad would rather fuck attractive girl. Chad, however, will fuck anything that moves - like most men tbqh lol Your issue is with your fellow man being desperate. Not really womens problem if it’s “fair” or not. So… maybe go complain to Chad.

No, it’s because you haven’t added anything. There’s nothing to respond to here. “I would never do X,” has nothing to do either what I said - I don’t know or care about you. It’s a general statement. I won’t be further responding - I don’t really enjoy explaining conversations to people. Nor do I want to have 2 conversations with someone lol

I’m sure you like to think those things. Sorry, but I don’t really feel you added much to this conversation so I don’t have anything to add. Have a nice day though!

It’s not double standards, lol. I want to watch movies with one friend but not watch movies with another. Different people work for different purposes. I’m sorry if that hurts your feelings or something.

No woman does, either, but we are quick to admit men have fantasies about celebrities and other women they can’t get - but if they could, they’d kick the wife to the curb. You, being most likely average, will never be anyones first choice - just the one they’re able to get. This is the same for most women. No one should really have to pretend they’d choose you over the hottest, sweetest and richest guy. Like, that’s just delusion.

If you phrase it in a way where men might understand women, they’ll just willingly disagree. Sorry!

Isn’t this entire premise the typical, “Madonna/whore complex”, typically described and experienced by men? It seems to be that most people have this experience. Just because he’s good to fuck doesn’t mean he’s good to raise kids with - and vice versa.

Men and women cannot because of capitalism. It’s neither parties fault. I understand you don’t want to engage with that but it’s still true. That being said - women can afford to not be with men, now. That’s good for us. Men that don’t like to engage with fact are generally hard to deal with, for ex. No, most women are generally fine. There’s no “lonely woman” epidemic. The parts of the internet you’re referring to are a minority - just like the parts in this subreddit. Most men in the world are…

Neither can men. Because of what I already said. On both, though. It’s “the lonely man” epidemic for a reason. Most women are kind of… fine not dating.

Did it contribute? Yes. More buying power means a capitalist society will raise prices. Maybe instead of complaining that women get to have their own funds now, have a problem with capitalism squeezing people dry. Having actual money has allowed women to be in control of their own lives, not being required to marry for money but instead choose whether or not to have a man in their lives. Not every woman even wants children - not in this economy.

Those rape statistics aren’t all like that - for example, the highly reputable RAINN. https://www.rainn.org/statistics/scope-problem In their case, the stat is 1 in 6. Not much different. Additionally, I don’t think you understand how statistics work for these types of things - no one study will have the exact same numbers when it comes to a survey unless they’re asking all the same people. The goal is to get a ballpark or a range - they all agree it’s prevalent. Where is your study to source on…

Really? Exact opposite. the only black women I’ve met who talk about this a lot are obsessed with “black love” and never want to date out.

What’s flawed about the rape statistics? What’s flawed about the wage gap? And what is flawed about men being in control in America? Same questions for the male ones, as well. You sort of have to explain the flaws, not simply state there are flaws.

This is actually a fun question since I studied this! So, this “romantic love” (not academically called them, I think but I can’t remember) came about as a response to exactly what you mentioned earlier - “man provides, woman is attractive.” People simply married for money or status, however, in the late 18th century, there was more of a push to “marry for love,” or “marry for chemistry.” This was further pushed and capitalized on by the wedding industry because it created more of a push to have…

Sometimes redpill men talk about men never getting custody of children but I don’t think they really… advocate for otherwise. It’s kind of just a “gotcha.”

I never have sex with men quickly. I think the absolute quickest was 5 months lmao I don’t engage in casual sex or anything so I can’t really answer the second one. I would guess no woman would want to have sex with someone they found to be a dick though - if they aren’t tolerable out of bed, the bedroom isn’t going to improve that. I would just say be upfront - “I’m looking for more of a casual hook-up - are you?” And if no, be on your way. Women do still want to LIKE the guy, though - it makes…

I must add here - the many “patriarchal” marriage I’ve seen not only become those items but take care of bill payments, if providers of X need to be changed, negotiations, travel, etc. that’s all - I would just like them to be noticed

So, we can’t even rank them? That’s sad! Female Answer B.

I used to date women and have literally no advice to give because I honest to god cannot understand how it is always such a problem for men. I stopped dating them because it was even easier than dating guys. I do not get it.

Yeah, this. Plus, isn’t this why men in marriages go all “she just lays there!!!” Cuz she doesn’t even wanna be there, Carl. If both parties are interested, everyone gets to have fun.

I met my current BF off Reddit and I didn’t know what he looked like initially, so not his appearance. I liked his energy and personality. Energy as in was able to talk A LOT and let me talk A LOT. I would send a novel and he would send one back. Looks are not a high priority to me. I am on the spectrum and literally cannot tell a lot of people apart, so, it’s really just not an interest for me lmao. I can’t tell who ya’ll even are. That being said, he is physically attractive. I don’t really ev…

I would say so. It communicates 2 things: 1. The person no longer/never did have an interest in remedying the relationship And 2. They are perfectly fine being dishonest with you about a serious issue
