but I'm sure they're more resilient than your average office drone. I was doing photography w/ the lambo, the only skill I lacked was driving. I loved it, gonna prob. have to move into another city to land another dealership like that, i'm still hurting at the moment, guess I gotta fix myself up some more.

You lost hope for humanity because YOU can't figure out what your passionate about? The opposite, the job world is unfair which is understandable. I've had my chance but I screwed it up as well. I lost passion in myself!

I was about to say this too but all the jobs require a BA in marketing, or do you mean IT as in comp sci/tech? I think that requires at least a AA or BA too, fixing computers up. Just not my thing though I like online marketing.

he's started his own service (it's not so difficult) Dude, I'd love to do that. The only bad reason is that I don't know or love a particular "trade". And it's not that easy, you need a business license, trademarking and the legal side, plus you'd have to wear MOST hats for a business. People have told me just start a business, I don't think that's that easy... No one will consider following if you've got no money in the bank, and its a superfluous buss.

Haha, if I could do the job I lost I'd probably consider it again. Thing is, they're the only kind in the city. I'd have to move out to find something similar. It sucks. I did cowboy up, but things became shit and I thought I was too good for myself.

Great advice. Man, I'd actually just consider to become a gypsy if it's even possible. Get my own mobile home and live my life without work shackles. I guess getting fired impacted me a bit. I have no idea what to be passionate about now, guess I lost some hope for humanity at the moment.

There are many high paying blue collar jobs out there for people with no degrees. The thing is, I really do not know what to actually do. It sucks so bad that I got laid off, I think I would have immersed myself in the world of auto luxury but at the same time I didn't want to work just autos, vanity kind of struck me. I'm probably looking more into the entrepreneur side, I don't really consider sales because I don't have a lot of savings. Maybe non-profit for a cause? Asides from all of this...…

There are many other types of jobs available. Like? Being a lawyer or a doctor, for example, still requires service? Being a coal miner is a service, being a rich ceo of the coal miner is also a service to people...? Being in the military is of service? A president service? What other jobs do you think is not service....???

It sucks lad, had a transition goal this beginning year but fucked it up, now im back at my dead end clerk job, only advancement is a dollar a year. The caveat is having nothing to do so I can just relax a bit and study, but the work is shit. I really fucked my recent opportunity up, it was more manual labor too but skills to learn was needed. Sales scare me because I rent on my own, if I don't get success I'm screwed.

Its important that you dont see anyone as being above you. We are all participants in the game, and thus equal in that sense. You must see others as on your level. Their accomplishments, experience, and successes doesnt change that they are human, and just like you. They can abuse this though because any business system. They have power, seniority power, knowledge, experience comes power. Then they can seem like they are above you because they know better than you anyway.

Had a coworker literally moved everything just so the customer gets what she wants. Granted, it was something she actually needed. He seemed to look like he was bending over with all the politeness he can muster while the customer was just standing there with sunglasses on.
