But there are plenty of feminist women with conservative boyfriends.

Not saying women didn't.

I mean if birth rates decline to halt then yeah? Isn't that already becoming a problem in countries like Japan where the younger generation are struggling to support the the older ones due to a reduced birth rate?

Why when women earned less, they weren't losers then? Now it's men earning less so they are losers? Maybe we need to normalise relationships where gender norms are reversed, the women being the provider, the man taking care of the household. If you think that makes the guy a loser, than you think women were losers for all of history.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 02:03 PM

Where did I say that? The solution is to improve men's and women's lives so it is more suitable and affordable for relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 01:59 PM

Well, believe it or not societal trends will impact the population. If women don't want to have relationships anymore, then the population will collapse in a few generations, by then no one will be there to make thier own choices.

The complete neglect of men in the last generation has led to a lot of men who are less educated and make less money than thier female counterparts if unmarried, more likely to be homeless, suicidal, isolated, rise in unemployment, lower sex rates etc. And these "Low value" men as a result are not deemed worthy partners by women. Hence the population crisis and the rise of "low value men". Burgerkreig talks about the hatred of low value men well in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQP…

Honestly, I wouldn't see a mentally ill girlfriend as a burden, I'd try my hardest to help her. I guess there a is gender divide here I dunno

Well if there's no effort to make lives better for these men, these women will die alone.

This really doesn't fix the problem, because men are still going to rarely get compliments from women, so when they do, they see it as flirting, still at square one.

You think boyfriends don't appreciate thier girlfriend as a person? And how bout wanting to be with someone for romantic companionship? Why do you think all men care about is sex?

I don't think men literally want thier partners to be mothers, but want the love that they get from a mother. I think this comment expresses it really well: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskMen/comments/3z8o75/comment/cymzsaf/

Ah this reminds me of the video of a woman trying to be a man on tinder: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZTIbHIsIYw She thought she'd do well because she thought she knew what women wanted to hear.Let's say she definitely lost confidence as the challenge went on, getting frustrated by the lack of matches and the boring one word responses to her messages.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/21 08:44 AM

That sounds... kinda abusive? I feel kinda sorry for the guys.

The "women are wonderful effect" itself shows the full extent of the bias https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women-are-wonderful_effect "This research found that while both women and men have more favorable views of women, women's in-group biases were 4.5 times stronger[5] than those of men. "Because most men feel they have no right to be emotionally understood and supported" said by TheBurgerkrieg, on his How to get rid of male spaces video. So sex is seen as the thing that will give them emotional support that I think. I think this might be an interesting perspective on the question.

How does aggression = subjugation? Aggression can be linked to dominance and competitiveness, both parts of masculinity, much easier than that. Subjugation is probably known as "toxic masculinity".

The problem with the Gillette ad is the way it kinda portrays the bad dudes as the default man, and the ones that are decent as the exception. Plus it's product isn't related to reducing toxic behaviour, its a razor. Its not a big deal, mainly just preachy, but maybe a tiny bit insulting.Where I draw the line and say I don't like the commercial is the phrasing of its decent message. To extend the analogy to your example, imagine if an ad showing strong women started out by showing a bunch of weak…

They don't know about the Duluth model? Based on feminist theory, it assumes men can't be the victim of domestic abuse from a woman, and it has influenced domestic violence policies around the world despite the founder admitted her theory was wrong after speaking to male domestic violence victims.

Nowadays the average middle and lower class woman must work if she wants to survive So just like average middle and lower class men have been doing since the dawn of humanity? I fail to see how this is sexism, especially as young unmarried women now outearn young unmarried men.

If toxic femininity" was also used as a term so brazenly and in a similar hamfisted way, I guarantee women would resent that term as well
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 07:18 PM

Lol, why is the female equivalent described as "internalized misogny"?And before you say it, "toxic femininity" is not nearly as frequently said as toxic masculinity. "Internalized misogny" implies society is at fault, "toxic masculinity" implies men are at fault. This plays into the sterotype that men are actors and women are acted on. And a lot of misandrists do use that term to blame men " god men's problems are thier own fault, they perpetrate toxic masculinity", and they always imply just m…

The term does imply that masculinity has inherit toxicity. It's doesn't take a detective to work out why so many people think that from looking at that phrase. I also don't think it helps when a lot of people online use the phrase have a pretty negative view of men and thus it is rarely used as its definition suggests, it's used in a mocking way to men, whenever a man does anything wrong (not necessarily to do with with masculinity, he could just be a dick), used to blame men for thier problems …

Not sure about sexual assault but rape definitely. For statistical reporting, rape has been carefully defined as forced penetration of the victim in most of the world. You should listen to this feminist professor Mary P Koss explain that a woman raping a man isn't rape. Hear her explain in her own voice just a few years ago - https://clyp.it/uckbtczn. Does anyone here actually know what entitlement is? It's feeling like you're owed rights or privileges just for existing. It's not when guys put in a lot of work into trying to get laid and it doesn't pan out for them and they vent about it. It's perfectly valid to complain about that as a guy, especially if "men are trash" is seen as a valid form of venting for women lol

You're assuming that biological preferences will change if society was matriarchy, and looking at current matriarchies, they still follow traditional gender roles. And this attraction is cross cultural, implying it's a natural attraction

/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 01:39 PM

A lot of masculinity is defined by a man's success with women. That's why one of the most common insults for men are mocking thier lack of success, "that's why you don't get laid", "no women will ever want to touch you", and general virgin shaming. So when men don't get this success, it affects thier self-esteem negatively and they feel less of a man. Rom coms don't help these expectations and feelings either.

Kinda blows a hole in your "everything in media is made for the male gaze" argument huh. And you've just made my point stronger, you just described is the female gaze. Lol half your links don't work and the others are bs because they've defined rape as "forced penetration", deliberately excluding male victims. If you look at "made to penetrate" stats, you see a more balanced view. Most people talking about sexual violence refer to the "rape" (penetrated) numbers as influenced by Mary Koss's methodologies, but in the US the CDC also gathered the data for "made to penetrate" (enveloped) in the 2010, 2011, and 2015 NISVS studies. As an example lets look at the 20…

Uh, rapists are a very small percentage of the male population, so it's pretty shitty to say it's men's fault, and ignoring female rapists, as if when they rape it's not any less bad. Second, the vast majority of men know rape is wrong, because we teach consent in school, I would wager most if not all rapist know rape is wrong, they just don't care and do it anyway. So you're telling men who've been conditioned to be emotionless rocks, oh well it was your fault anyways for being like that lol, not the women turned off by you expressing your emotions? Sheesh talk about blaming the victim. And this "talking about insecurity rationally" bs would never be said to a woman. Bro you've seen the Australian school that forced boys to apologise for thier gender? And the University of York cancelling an International Men's day event, and a male York student commited suicide less than 24 hours later? Boys are already lagging behind in school and they've got to deal with being told they're privileged and at fault for everything. The next generation of boys will be riddling with male guilt from being told how horrible thier gender is.

I think the Tomi Lauren rant "Men are Trash" shows why their is a negative association with career women. They tend to be pickier, more entitled and look down on men who earn less than them or are less educated than them. She says her and her successful friends are amazing and yet can't find good men. The problem isn't them right? Noooo, she blames it on all men and says they need to "step up". That arrogance puts men off. An extreme version sure, but true to an extent.

I think it's because women falsely assume men's experiences in dating and thier chances of finding a date are similar to their's when it's not. I remember a video by Anna Akana, who came out as bi and started dating women, and finally understood guy's complaints in dating that she dismissed previously, ( feeling like girls would use her as a free meal and having the pay the whole bill on first dates for example). This really seems like a double-bind for men tbh. If they're a player and don't get attached to women after sex, they're an asshole and they objectify and are using women for thier pleasure. If they get attached, they're needy and clingy and that's unattractive. Seems like you lose both ways. I don't think these particular guys would become "clingy", if men got approached to similar rates to women.

True, look at the (based on a debunked study) articles that said that female leaders were better at handling COVID. Even progressive people became reverted to stereotypes when they said women would make more caring and empathetic leaders.

But people reading that won't know that necessarily. If you said this out loud to people, they would be pretty shocked because violence has a meaning that isn't reflected in thier studies. It's deliberately misleading.

This is the worst part for me personally: " Most men have benefited from patriarchy and perpetrated gender violence and inequality to some degree. Some acts of violence may seem more obvious or severe than others, but the men who have committed these must not be held up as ‘bad men’ – this only serves to exonerate those men whose conduct has been less explicit " They're literally saying most men hit women and implying they can't help it. I never got that stereotype that "boys will be boys" is used to excuse rape and other awful behaviours. That phrase is generally used for boys roughhousing and getting muddy from playing outside and stuff like that. All of which is perfectly innocuous behaviour but that Gillette ad made it seem that roughhousing is a crime or something.

NISVS survey http://www.preventconnect.org/2012/02/cdc-on-use-of-sexual-coercion-in-nisvs/ . However, sexual coercion was defined back in the mid-1980’s, similarly to how NISVS has defined it, in the work of Mary Koss and colleagues (Koss, Leonard, Beezely, & Oros, 1985) and later by DeKeseredy and Kelly (1993), just as two examples. Koss and colleagues examined sexual coercion in the 1985 article as part of a continuum and defined it as “obtained sexual intercourse with a resistant woman thro…

In my first source, this section is covered: An estimated 0.6% of women (>700,000 women) were made to penetrate a perpetrator during their lifetimes. The case count for women reporting being made to penetrate a perpetrator in the preceding 12 months was too small to produce a statistically reliable prevalence estimate. This is a statistically tiny occurence, the main victims of this definition were men, and that was intentional as the woman behind that definition didn't think men could get raped…

I fail to see my error here, could you clarify please? In addition, an estimated 94.7% of female victims of sexual violence other than rape had only male perpetrators. For male victims, the sex of the perpetrator varied by the type of sexual violence experienced. The majority of male rape victims (an estimated 79.3%) had only male perpetrators. For three of the other forms of sexual violence, a majority of male victims had only female perpetrators: being made to penetrate (an estimated 82.6%), s…

The CDC describes rape as "forced penetration", excluding male victims of rape. Most people talking about sexual violence refer to the "rape" (penetrated) numbers as influenced by Mary Koss's methodologies, but in the US the CDC also gathered the data for "made to penetrate" (enveloped) in the 2010, 2011, and 2015 NISVS studies. As an example lets look at the 2011 survey numbers: https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/ss6308a1.htm an estimated 1.6% of women (or approximately 1.9 million women…

For statistical reporting, rape has been carefully defined as forced penetration of the victim in most of the world. You should listen to this feminist professor Mary P Koss explain that a woman raping a man isn't rape. Hear her explain in her own voice just a few years ago - https://clyp.it/uckbtczn . To be fair, society doesn't tell them to acknowledge thier privilege at all, and instead tells them they are oppressed, so I'm not surprised. Humans are social creatures, we need attention from other people to have a good mental health. The fact that one gender gets so much more attention than the other is huge. No wonder males are the majority of suicide victims and male lonliness has increased with the invention of social media.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/21 11:01 PM

I think the numbers are slightly skewed by the fact that men don't report abuse out of shame, and a lot of male victims are not taken seriously by police, so it's not reported. Otherwise, interesting stats.

If it makes you feel better, men are just as likely to be raped by women, and 70% of non-reciprocal domestic violence, women are the perpetrators. Most genders are as dangerous as each other. Best comment on this thread. I think Contrapoints said it best: "I'd prefer the firing squad of dicks [than getting radio silence on dating apps]". Attention, even if it's seedy and shallow, is way better than no attention at all. I think women are completely oblivious to the fact that men feel invisible when it comes to dating, especially on apps like Tinder. Multiple rejections would take a toll on anyone.

Men are just as likely to be raped as women and in non reciprocal abusive relationships, women are the perpetrators 70% of the time. Gay men have the lowest rates of DV and lesbian couples have the highest. This narrative that men are the violent gender is perpetuated by DV shelters and women' s groups to ensure government funding. Just because women are more scared of something, doesn't necessarily mean that that thing affects them more. Men are not taught to be scared of things.

"Decent men" are out of a fat girl's league, they will look for a woman on the same level of attractiveness as them at least. Fat/ugly men will still approach fat girls, and funny enough, they get rejected because the fat girl isn't attracted to them and wants someone better. Fat/ugly men on the other hand, get no attention at all.

Funny you say that, most women say that they do that for themselves and not for men. Dieting and yoga is not "seduction", that's called being healthy. I'm pretty sure "seduction" comes from just looking hot, which is something mostly only women can pull off.

Essay in text: Theory: Role congruity theory of prejudice towards female leaders. Argument: The role congruity theory is flawed and doesn't adequately prove that women leaders are discriminated against. Role congruity theory argues that there are defined gender roles for men and women respectively. The female gender role involves communal traits (e.g. friendly, other oriented) and the male gender role involved agentic traits (e.g. assertive, competitive). Leadership role traits have the same tra…

This is an essay argument I've made for my "Introduction to Management" module for my Computer Science With Management Uni degree. I also talk about women being fast tracked to positions of management over more experienced men.

I think the point of this post is that she got 300K more likes despite being way less fit, because she's a woman. Also, is it just me, or all "out-of-shape-models" women?

Hey, why you hating on a guy for expressing his feelings? You're exhibiting toxic masculinity right now.
/r/PussyPass09/12/20 09:47 PM

Are you aware not all civilians are men? Civilians consist of women, men and children. This argument only works if you count all civilian deaths as women. Old men, disabled men and men who choose not to go to war were civilians as well. If the women civilians who died is more the the men who died as civilians plus men who died in combat then fair enough.
/r/PussyPassDenied09/12/20 09:27 PM

Yeah that's still justify the statement. How on earth are women the primary victims of war when majority of deaths are men? What would you rather be, dead fighting in a war, or losing someone who died from it? Men are still affected adversely and well as directly, and the article didn't mention my previous query. Also it fails to mention POWs, and how they were ruthlessly tortured for months on end.

Interestingly enough, through natural selection, women's breasts have grown larger over many generations because men saw them as a good marker for fertility and found them sexy. So I think for men, it's by default sexual, so I don't think sexualisation of it is going away.

I think you haven't read the original post I was responding to, it said that misandry was justified. How horrible is that? It also made it into a competition by saying men had more flaws than women, a assumption based on crime statistics. By that logic, Islamophobia is justified because most terrorist attacks are made my radical Muslims. Men are the only demographic that is acceptable to hate today. If crime statistics were used to justify hatred towards black people, everyone would be outraged,…

Okay man, let's not generalize all women in a hateful manner. I pretty sure you don't like it when feminazis say kill all men, so let's not say women can't be humans, you sink down to their level.
/r/PussyPass05/12/20 05:35 PM

Okay, but killers make up such a minor part of of the male population, it would be stupid to hate all men because of that. Men also have made 99% of all human inventions, but people never focus on the good things men do, only the bad and then generalize all men as bad like you've done. Also most of the high IQ are men, and that's rooted in biology, yet saying that most geniuses are men, makes people brand you as a sexist. The biology argument never seems to be believable to people when it's appl…

Is that women make up the majority of child abuse perpetrators? Ah yes I forget, women don't have the ability to kill, they're too weak and would probably faint before trying it /s! Testosterone doesn't make you a murderer you idiot. I feel sorry for your father and any other men in your life that you treat them like natural killers. There is no "should" for hating men, murderers come from a very poor and violent background and are normally treated badly by their mother/father, their biology alo…

And biologically women are natural caretakers so they should just stay at home and make children following your logic. You shouldn't use biology to discriminate.

It's not an imaginary scenario. There are actually cases where that has happened. Even minors who have been raped by women have had to pay child support. Please look it up without dismissing it as 'weird'. I guarantee you would be outraged if it was the other way round. Also you admit to not knowing about conscripting to the army so why are you commenting on it? In the majority of countries in the world, not just mine, the draft if it is there, nearly always applies only to men. This was the cas…

You don't think men can raped? Pretty disgusting misandry there. And queens in history have been shown to be more likely to engage in war than kings. Guess it's all that male aggression huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/20 11:14 AM

Ah yes I too generalise half of the population because I'm a bigot. Can you also use the same logic using crime statistics with black people? I'd love to see the reaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/20 09:04 AM

Misandry: I get can get raped and the woman who raped me will be legally allowed to charge me for child support or else I'll go to jail. I can't vote until I conscript to the army. I have no say in if I want to be a father or not. I got circumcised at birth. I have so much rights!

Is that why those organisations face the most resistance from feminist organisations? It doesn't matter if most feminist agree (pretty doubtful with that statement) the powerful feminists actively try to stop men's issues being discussed unless they are "allies" to help women?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/12/20 10:46 PM

Nope, men rights organisations that fight for legal rights in courts have no connections with red pill pick up artists on youtube that lure men to try and get women. What does have to do with men's rights? 😂

/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/12/20 10:28 PM

Yeah but feminism has a real misandry problem, how many times do we see feminists protesting against films about men's issues and shutting down discussions and talks about men's health? At what point do we realise that feminist ideology has made feminists class men as 'privileged' and so reinforcing the idea men can't victims and the hate doesn't come from a vacuum?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/12/20 10:17 PM

Here is my comment: Yeah but all do have to do to be a feminist is to call yourself one, there's no membership card, your actions are irrelevant. The "Feminists" are way more powerful than the normal feminists. NOW (the national organisation for women) make over $2 million dollars a year and have consistently lobbied against equal custody and alimony. Feminists in Spain protested to shut down the screening of Silenced, a Spanish documentary on male victims of domestic violence. Mary Koss is a fe…

There is a really great comment in there about Mary Koss, and how she made rape laws purposefully gendered and made it so that rape is only defined by penetration so that female perpetrators aren't counted as rapist and male victims aren't counted as being raped.

Dude, every demographic including black and latino voters voted more for Trump now than in 2016. Ironically, the only demographic that voted less was white men. So a bunch of white men voted in an old white man over another old white man. America has become so progressive! 🤗

The context was talking about 'deadbeat dads' and I brought up the fact in a lot of states, a man cannot choose whether or not he can be a father, because the women has to approve his choice for it to become valid. Then a bunch of people told me if a man has sex he HAS to be a father, implying all pregnancy is the responsibility of only men etc. Here's the whole thing if you wanna see the whole shitshow. https://mobile.twitter.com/magieyanes602/status/1314019843738271747
