So are you seeing that other girl now?

He said you were being needy?? Oh hell no. Please enjoy your trip and try not to think about him. Ignore his texts/calls for now. I’d do anything to be back in Tokyo right now. It’s my favourite city and a great place to distract yourself and take in the beautiful culture!

Your ex doesn’t sound like he would have made a great husband anyway. It’s a blessing in disguise for him to let you go. He could have dragged you down with him. I saw an earlier post on RPW where women shared their experience finding love later in life. You have your entire 30’s to have children. Even 40’s it can be possible. Amal Clooney married and had children with George Clooney at 36/37. She was 35 when she met him. And check out Russell Hartley on Instagram or youtube. He speaks about how…

No lol I’m at this place multiple times a week.

A lot to think about for sure. Thanks so much :)

Thanks for your insight. So how should I go about this? He’s been texting me asking to see me/spend time together but I’m still so turned off and said “I’m just not in a good head space right now, stressed about my living situation”. So I’m keeping my distance while I figure out if I should walk away for good and haven’t told him yet that i’m disappointed with him.

Yes an avoidant. But somehow he’s attached to me and won’t leave me alone after 5 years lol.

I 100% agree. I think he is not as serious about our relationship as he claims to be. And my predicament has seemed to reveal his true colours.

Having someone you’ve known for 5 years that already spends every week at your place and needs to stay temporarily in a time of need, is not a serious escalation. He knows how I am and what I’m like to live with. He clearly just wants to remain a bachelor or is maybe cheating which is why I’m considering ending it.

No, I’d only intend on staying with him until I find a new place which could be only a month or two. That’s not a serious escalation at all. It’s not like he’s only known me for a month and we just started dating & I’m throwing this on him. That’s why I compared it to couples who move in together after 2 years. He knows that I don’t want to live together permanent until there is a ring. And if there is no ring after about 2-3 years then I’m gone. I’m personally not looking to be a forever girlfr…

Definately is a perpetual bachelor and I’m his longest relationship, so I guess he’s happy with me since he hasn’t ended it lol and has always been consistent with me but I need things to progress at this point since I’m 30. Claims he wants marriage and kids with me one day, well I can’t wait any longer. And doesn’t even want me to move in with him temporarily when I’m sleeping over at his place every week already… Make a commitment or move on.

It’s not a serious escalation if it’s temporary. Besides, most couples get engaged after 2 years, moving in together by then. And he’s known me for 5 years. So he obviously just doesn’t want to settle down at this point. So I’m ready to move on.

Right? Not even being a good friend. I’m so disappointed and turned off.

Agreed. He claims he hasn’t had kids because he hasn’t found the right person. But perhaps he just truly doesn’t want them. Especially since he claims I’m the one for him and asked what kind of ring I’d like yet won’t even offer me a place to stay.. something’s not right. Probably was not genuine in saying those things. So now I am so turned off that I don’t even want to see him. Ready to end things if he doesn’t step up.
/r/RedPillWomen20/03/25 01:32 PM

I’m 30, he’s in his mid 40s. And he’s actually the one who asked me if I would move with him to another city if we were to get married ect. He even brought up us having children. So clearly he doesn’t truly know what he wants and I’m getting tired of it.

I think it may be the first two reasons. He’s been a bachelor living on his own for a long time (he’s in his mid 40’s). I’m his longest relationship, he’s had a lot of short term relationships with the longest being a year. He said he has lived with 2 women briefly in the past. Has broken up with all of his relationships. Has wanted to settle down with the right person for a long time but I think he is an avoidant. And now I’m started to have suspicions that he may be cheating since he doesn’t w…

No, I don’t have any pets nor any big furniture since my current place came fully furnished. So I have very little stuff.

Thank you. Yes, I’ve created distance and haven’t contacted first. I felt so turned off and don’t even want to see him right now.

After his response I felt so disappointed but played it cool, I kept kind of quiet and he changed the subject trying to lighten the mood and make me laugh since I was stressed out. Then he started to get affectionate probably hoping to get lucky… I was so turned off by his lack of support and simply said “I have a lot going on in my mind, I’m a little stressed out right now so I think I’m just going to head home to bed” walked me to the door, gave him a hug, I said good night, I didn’t even kiss…

I agree. Thankfully I have my parents place to stay but definately not ideal due to lack of space there which is why I asked him. He has his own house and it is a bigger space. He lives alone.

Right?? And we’ve known each other for 5 years being friends first before we dated. I find it so upsetting especially since he is a provider and aways takes care of everything, yet can’t even offer me a place to stay?.. makes me think he doesn’t see a future together and wants to remain a bachelor.

Maybe try dating 10-15 years older?

I would suggest reading the “5 Love Languages” book by Dr. Gary Chapman. Or search his videos.

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink.. hopefully he will wake up one day. Try not to stress over it.

Get off Tinder, there isn’t quality on there in the first place.

This! You need to know you’re not weak OP. In fact, she is the weak one considering she has no emotional maturity. There is nothing wrong with being vulnerable, and you should be glad you saw her true colours sooner than later. Onto the next.

Why do you even have plates while you’re in a LTR? What kind of sad, heartless person are you.. you’re obviously leading this girl on since her emotions got involved. How about you be honest with them from the beginning if you plan on sleeping multiple women at a time. Though IDK what kind of low self esteem girl would put up with your shit. I’d run as far as I can from a guy like you.

Health is wealth. Start working out again and you’ll feel motivated. Regular exercise fights off that depression, releasing endorphins. You should be working as many hours as you can, maybe get a second job. & in your free time, work out, eat healthy and get enough sleep. You got this. It’s grind time.

Lol, what kind of girls does this actually work on? I always know when a guy runs game on me exactly how you described and I’m instantly turned off. Females that fall for this game are not the brightest. I’m guessing you use these “skills” to just get laid easily and not to build a real relationship. A high value woman would get turned off by your game. Be genuine.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
