I wrote my point of view to show up other possibilities. If you are generalizing things, but your generalization only fits 40% of the cases it is not a good way of thinking. I don't kiss only the people that I find marvelous or have the ideal beauty, but I still wanted to kiss them (sometimes more than people who has the ideal beauty). In my experience appearance just counts for the first approach and for places that you have no way to talk. Of course, with more successful first approaches you have a better overall success. But what is important to know is that there's no problem in being unsuccessful, sometimes you get it right, sometimes don't. Maybe there's something with you, maybe it's just an unlucky fase.
