He has had my back in past situations before so yes I would anticipate he would in the future. A man can be a beta in certain situations while alpha in others. My friend is a local official he is certainly not some schmuck in his mom's basement. My friend is fighting over the girl he promptly dumped her. Her and my now ex employee can enjoy themselves together now albeit much poorer.

No one allowed my friend or I into power we took it like men. My attitude is to do what is best for myself and those close to me. I acted upon it by firing the employee. I wasn't emotionally upset about the situation.

Thankfully I'm in a state that has relatively favorable alimony/asset division laws and we haven't been married too long. But, I'll file once I have my ducks in a row.
