That quote is real, but I would hardly say that qualifies. It's not like she's making the argument that "women are the primary victims of war ERGO we must deny mens' rights." How I know Hil really is not a RadFem: she would have divorced Bill DECADES ago.

Yeah, I read this as primarily an attempt at comedy. It mostly suffers from bad delivery, but some of it lacks that essential grain of truth that is the secret ingredient to humor. Men leaving the seat up isn't actually gross, so complaining about it isn't funny.

So to believe that we will never use violence when those against us are more than happy to use it is to doom ourselves to failure, to ensure that our position can never win. Is it a case of "EW IT'S GROSS I DON'T WANT TO TOUCH IT" ??? ... but everyone sits on it with their butt, regardless. The reason men lift the seat up in the first place is so we don't piss on it (it it's like this, anyhow. These can be left down). If the toilet seat is too gross to touch, then we'll just leave it down and get our piss all over it, if that's what you…

The alternative is to strip all reference to sex/gender from the advice. Precautions against getting raped and admonitions against being a rapist should apply to everyone equally.

Your instinct is good, but I think I've actually seen this somewhere before, in a completely serious context. edit: wow random typo

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
