Is that the aim even if it cripples and dooms our society? Their are ways to determine absolute guilt. There's a whole industry/ department/ system of people who work to do just that. And there has been for hundreds of years, so there has been a lot of solid work done. Look at any interview/report from anybody who has spent time in prison. Staff or prisoner. It does not "make whole" for them. To think that about our American prisons is basically willful ignorance. A glance at the history of our prisons or how our prisons/prisoners compare to other developed nations is why I think that. And women are pretty much always in hostile environments unfortunately. Or atleast they feel that way due to how unpredictable men/people can be.
