Offer him water if your husband thinks he's thirsty? There is an argument that it's better for his teeth to night wean so it's not entirely selfish either. I was very happy to night wean each time so I feel you!

It sounds like you have mostly made your decision and have a strong support network around you. You can recover from this and you absolutely have time to make a successful marriage in the future. If you are definitely going to leave then my advice is don't waste time!

I've just started a new health kick to lose about a stone of baby weight. Can't wait to fit back in my clothes again in a few months!

A friend of mine waited for the perfect man and now she's single, 43 and has been doing ivf unsuccessfully (on her own) for 4 years. This is a really unfortunate situation you find yourself in. I'm really sorry. What kind of specific problems do you face in your relationship, May I ask?

I'm in exactly the same position as you. I've never been concerned with milk supply and so I'm just reducing calories to lose the weight. So far I've lost 4kgs of the 11kgs I wanted to lose. I'm doing noom which is working fairly well. I love fruit and veg so I just eat a huge amount of those every day (think 10 portions per day) with my meals to make myself feel fuller. Yesterday my husband said he noticed I'd lost a lot of the baby weight which was nice to hear! It's only been a few weeks for …

Totally agree with this. What works for me is to show the love and affection first and it always gets reflected back by my husband.

My husband said the same and completely changed his mind when we actually had kids. For me, it was enough that we loved each other and he was very good at his job (ie we would probably be able to afford it either way). I figured that we would cross that bridge when we came to it, which we did, and it worked out perfectly. As long as he is open minded and loves you you might not have much to worry about!

I think people assume red pill men and women are the same but we are absolutely not! I think that men on red pill men are totally incompatible with us and not who we should be choosing. I love this group. It's a marriage and woman-positive space and being part of it inspires me to be a better all-round human being (not just wife!).

Are you in a relationship right now? If so then can you elaborate on the dynamic? Would you do separate laundry even if you were married/lived together? That seems very strange to me! We had a friend visit and I washed and dried all his clothes before he left. I went to stay at a neighbour's house for a sleepover and took the bedclothes back to my house to wash because she didn't have a dryer. I do all the household laundry and next week when my in-laws visit I'll ask them daily if they want me …

One example is that I'm pretty tidy and my husband is not. I used to spend half my life nagging him about it. I felt like I should train him to tidy rather than clear up after him. I've since realised a few things. he doesn't necessarily see mess the same way. if it's really easy for him to put something away then he's more likely to do it. I enjoy tidying and he does not After finding this stuff I just stopped nagging him and started tidying his mess too. The result was that he loved how tidy o…

How are you feeling physically right now and when will he be gone? If you feel ok right now then you are likely to feel good until 7 months or so when you will feel big and tired! It will be tough if he has to miss important scans etc but it's more than likely all will be well and you won't need to handle a medical situation alone. Do you want him there for the birth? It's definitely worth doing some birth preparation together if so.

Do you have any goals for the week to work towards solving these issues? You can just pick one or two, not fix everything this week!

Any man that puts all his wealth in crypto is a moron. Edit: man or woman. No one should do this

You can tell the people without kids who get away with doing it twice a week! I just do a load a day and never iron anything

Something that people say for toddlers is to tell them what to do rather than what not to do. What do you actually want her to do? It's a bit unusual that her manner with her son bothers YOU so much - how does he feel about it? Is he ok with you talking to his mother like that?

Hopefully the other comments explain things. I'll just add that this is a very positive and supportive sub and you might get some good advice if you post your problem here (though I warn you that you might also get some harsh truths too!)

I met my husband at work. He was 5 years older than me and he had joined a graduate programme at the company a few years before. At the time I really wanted to settle down and have a home and he was basically the only one on his grad intake year to have bought a house, which I thought was impressive and aligned with my own priorities (I was saving up for a deposit despite only having a small income). Moreover, he'd had 2 promotions whereas the rest of his peers had zero or only one. At the time …

I need to do better with meal planning. At the start of the month of April I spent too much money on groceries then by the end of the month we had to cut back on some things like fresh fruit to come in within budget. I want to avoid doing that again! I'm just about staying on top of the housework but I'm not managing to do any deep cleaning which is a big problem. I havent been sleeping very well so I'd like to put much more effort into that. No screens in the evening, enough exercise in the day…

This is so interesting to read because I'm the opposite and have always written on my birth preferences 'I need my husband with me at all times and don't want to be separated from him for any reason' and 'all interaction should go via my husband so I can labour in peace '. Lol For a natural birth you must be relaxed and happy. Whatever makes you feel safest and free is the right thing. You absolutely cannot have someone around if you are uncomfortable with it. It will affect the Labour and any m…

Can you afford to freeze your eggs? At 34 you are definitely not over the hill (!) and your eggs are probably still in great nick but if you want to meet someone and spent a couple of years together, by late 30s you might struggle with fertility. A single friend of my is 42 and for 3 years has been trying to get pregnant via IVF with no success. The problem is likely egg quality and she desperately wishes she had frozen her eggs earlier or started IVF sooner. I hope you get your fairytale story …

Probably yeah. I would strongly recommend getting as fit and HEALTHY (ie not just skinny) as possible before having kids. It makes a huge difference to pregnancy, birth (!) and recovery afterwards.

I'm a million times happier in my marriage after finding this sub. And so is he. Eg I used to nag so much which made both of us miserable!

Geez that's nuts. I haven't seen any hate in this sub (though TRP is definitely a different matter). Just ladies who value themselves and want to be their best!

Definitely don't pay all of that. If you choose to go and eat something then perhaps pay for the food. I had a kind of similar thing where a friend offered us their pram that they didn't need any more and a month later asked for £50! I politely said we would be OK without it and bought another one for £5. Still friends though it was all a bit weird . qa You want to be gracious but not a doormat. Accusing you of being cheap is not fair at all so don't listen to him. Let us know if it all works ou…

I have kids and my best friends (a couple) don't. Their weekends are spent cooking together, watching rugby, reading books, going out for meals, hiking together etc. Mine is spent in a state of constant exhaustion changing nappies, picking up toys, endlessly cooking serving and cleaning up food. I love my children but it's HARD a lot of the time to be so busy all the time. As I was saying yesterday to my friends, in my opinion you have to really want kids to have them otherwise you will be miser…

I really enjoyed reading the blog of Mr Money Mustache. It really changed my perspective and meant we changed our money habits dramatically to spend it on what we value. I particularly found the bits on hedonic adaptation absolutely fascinating!

My husband keeps losing his masks so I'm going to make him a bunch! We have to wear them in shops and public places.

I've been really struggling to find time for exercise, given that I work as well and have a toddler. My toddler wakes up super early (5.15am normally) and doesn't go till nursery til 8am so this morning I'm going to try a mother and toddler workout video. Hopefully it will become part of my routine and mean I start exercising again. I'm slim but worried about lack of exercise and lack of body tone so I really want to get working out again. Wish me luck ladies!
