Y'all this reminds me when a lawyer came to my marketing class as a guest speaker and ranted to our entire lecture class about how men are more "logical" citing his divorce as evidence. I stared at him and then rolled my eyes in disdain several times prompting him to explode like an unhinged lunatic. Still funny to this day.

Yes I’m of south Asian descent (a bit mixed too with Portuguese influences etc) so my parents made me straighten my hair every day since I was a kid even though it’s actually insanely curly. They didn’t want people to think my hair was “unruly” and south Asian standards don’t even acknowledge people with natural curls. Don’t get me started on skin tone where people in my family freak out if I get a tan.

My friends boyfriend lost 20k of his girl’s money that she worked hard for bc he was so sure things would work out. She could have paid off the remainder of her student debt and be debt free. He isn’t paying her back either. Low life.

Not gonna lie when I saw his profession plus the amount of years he has been in it, with no responsibility of children holding him down (common reason why ppl stay in one place) I thought he should still be making way more than her and something was amiss. The gambling explains it. He seems like a jerk so it’s best she get out now.

So she gave him a drop of blood in a necklace before going away. They are what I consider weirdos and this drinking each other’s blood sounds like their normal. but I don’t think they are in a toxic relationship. He does have a kid and she has 3 that she has joint custody of and they all have a decent relationship. There is a four year age gap which is nothing but she gets flack for being older one. All of their ig posts are so dramatic with the captions bc they claim they are each other’s twin …

He is absolute garbage for saying that. As are the people who laughed in response. Women in India already have it hard enough. They literally just want to be given the freedom and equality that their constitution claims they have. Then you have these garbage men with these disgusting views in power. India would be better off with modern, educated women making the laws and these men thrown in the gutters.

Justin Bieber married to get over his sex addition, he is hardly someone to compare to. Ariana married but also has been repeatedly engaged and maybe she married someone she thinks won’t leave her since he adores her. Either way both of those are huge risks to their net worth. At least Bieber married someone who originally came from wealth lol. Ariana will be screwed over if her husband turns out like Adele’s (he got 150 million in the divorce) hopefully that never happens. I can see why even if…

If they started dated at a young age, then 7 years is fine. Otherwise this stuff seems so pathetic to any normal person. Like I know adults in 10year relationships and the guy has no intention to marry her, he may even have kids with her but that’s where he draws the line. It’s actually psychologically abusive behavior of dangling the carrot & goal switching when he started off promising they would be end up married.

I think it’s great you are teaching them this at a young age. Eventually they won’t need to be told to do this. When I was growing up my parents only taught daughters these tasks and were upset I would staunchly not help. But I think I was always upset at the inequality compared to my brothers. I hope to become a parent who does something like you when the time comes.

That's a bit dramatic lol but i like the idea of it. I do something similar during meetings bc our cams arent on, cutting people off can happen a lot over audio. So I keep speaking when a guy does this (typically men) and then you hear two people talking at once. Once they realize I won't stop (idc if 100+ ppl are on the meeting), they apologize bc they look dumb. (Sidenote: I also rarely speak & when I do its usually when important technical points need to be made so they are making everyone do…

I always say no to single dads, i live in a major city where professionals like me don’t usually have kids so I have options. Surprisingly a single dad will make it seem like you have none to keep you from looking elsewhere. I’ve seen so many get mad on apps and call it discrimination bc children are innocent & they deserve love or their ex was crazy. God forbid you ask them to date a single mom and have a blended family. Nooo they want a single woman bc that means all their problems are solved:…

When I’m on dating apps I usually swipe at random and then get some guys like these in my dms and they are so funny (pathetic) to me. Why would anyone want to be in that situation versus with a guy who is single. There is zero appeal. When they try to sell their position it’s so so sad.

Sorry no, a guy doing this is a LVM, he never really changes. He only fakes it. Really hate narratives like this. She is being a pickme, please change the flair. This isn’t good advice to women it places a burden on women like they aren’t enough, when really LVM trick women and the cycle repeats.

Yeah she was dating rapper lil baby, buying him things like a pickme thinking it would keep him, talking bad about black women (due to competition with the rappers’ baby momma), released a song called yellow bone (for light skinned black girls) and then apologized after back lash. She is really messy. That’s also why people don’t want to listen to her music now. It was so cringey.

My friend is in to fitness. Would research techniques and then do them at her gym. Some guys would come in with trainers. The trainers would steal her techniques bc they don’t even put that much research in their jobs. Obv this isn’t every trainer I’ve actually taken karate lessons under a middle aged guy and he taught me a lot. Vet their character or take the easier route and get a female trainer who gets your body.

It’s insane how the only thing holding Indian women back from dressing how they please, is and will always be Indian men. They def are fighting the patriarchy. It’s wild as someone of Indian descent knowing that India has changed much. The last time I visited (2017) I was able to walk around in shorts and skirts and no one cared. I recently was like “this is beyond our scope” and pushed back for my (all female) team. He was surprised but when you’re too nice these guys really try to delegate their work. Like lol nooo if you’re High value, prove it. In the workplace or at a date. Half of these guys don’t even know how to do their job without asking a woman and counting on her kindness…

Have a date tonight and tomorrow but go off. The kinds of guys that FDS doesn’t approve of are guys who are abusive, have no motivation in life, and what is considered low value. There are always posts about high value men, boyfriends and dates as well bc no one hates men. So not sure why you’re confusing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 11:35 AM

FDS is pretty cool. I in no way resent men. Unlike people here who theorize about dating, I actually date good men who know how to meet my basic standards, match my values, etc . So don’t resent their way of dating either.

That really isn’t. Also women are increasingly the breadwinners since they typically have more education that lends to good careers. You haven’t read the book or visited the forum. I really don’t get why you make up stuff that’s easily verifiable.

Are you surprised people date with goals in mind. Also who says “use the gash between her legs to manipulate some men” there is no way you are not 100 years old. I’ve def read TRP but “her mediocrity will leak out, she regresses to the mean” are you projecting your narrow minded views or what. Not every woman wants an LTR: some do, some don’t. There isn’t a long term con to get a guy. Calm down. 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 01:47 AM
1

That’s the thing. You are once again confusing dating and sex. If a guy does that, he totally is within his rights. If a woman walks away during a date, same thing. Also she prob won’t care what her date does after she abandons him forever for a new date that matches her normal set of standards. For example a guy who can pay a tiny dinner bill.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 01:35 AM

I’ve read the handbook and it’s basically like find a man of high value (not abusive, has his life together, etc) but also encourages a woman to be high value first (hobbies, interests , career). From what I recall I haven’t seen any “yes slay queens” in it. Would be cool if it did have at least one tho 😆.

In formal dating women can pay, but they don’t typically. I legit don’t resent any way a man dates at all. As I said I personally date guys who pay for the date and it’s not even a factor either of us really pay attention to. It’s a formality at best. Everyone dates differently so if you find a woman who doesn’t care about these things, pursue that further since you have similar tastes. If she finds you lacking and doesn’t want to pay for both of your dinners or take it further after going Dutch…

There are multiple ways to date. If that’s your way, go with it. If you are dating someone you consider high maintenance or too expectant, let her find her match. Why resent different women for having different dating styles.

Idk what you’re going on about a whore ransom but a woman can have sex at any point in dating. The whole point of dating is seeing if you want the same things from each other even if only for a little while. If all you’ve known is casual encounters I don’t really understand why you think it’s weird when men pay for dates and women expect it. It’s kind of the bare minimum. Especially when both people dating have money. The last thing you worry about is pinching pennies. Haha.

Are people here broke? Why is this always debated. Do you guys even date in real life and not just theorize everything. Using men for meal tickets? Seriously, ditch this way of thinking. If I make six figures as is I can def afford the meal I am eating if it comes down to it. However I have never been on a date where the guy does not pay for the meal, drinks or outing. If I am with a friend, sure let’s go Dutch. Or if I’m hanging out with someone and celebrating something or whatever I have def …

One guy I dated said “you don’t smile in your pics, I was expecting you to be mean like a bitch but you are so nice”, another date said “so you would make more money than me if you took that (job) offer” and seemed annoyed at that. last but not least the date that would not stop mentioning his ex and showed me a photo of her, then tried to compliment me. That one I ended up thinking he would use me as a trophy.

He tricked her. For sure. After 7 months he had been stringing her along. The whole “you have to label it “ is a technicality men use for free sex. They bet their lives on that technicality too since it means they don’t have to feel too bad for the awful stuff they do.

Kind of think this is extreme since most arranged marriages just mean arranged dating and the woman has a choice of her suitor and checks compatibility on her end before committing. Also if you’re getting an arranged marriage you prob already know you’re signing up for kids with this person which makes you even more picky as a woman.

Public proposal. Public rejection. At least have a convo beforehand before you do this. Also we don’t know the full story what if he cheated, she said no previously, or something like that.
