Being social is key. How can anyone know that they like you if they don't get the chance to meet you in the first place? I can emphasize with difficulty concentrating - I'm ADHD as fuck, but I can't let that hold me back. For my part I need a relatively high level of interest in a project or it's really hard for me to stay focused on it.

Well I used to be beanpole skinny, and now I'm kind of husky, and I know girls who prefer both respectively. What matters the most is whether or not you are comfortable in your own skin. I would like to be in better shape, but it has nothing to do with girls. I'm pretty happy with my girlie situation at the moment, but that's no reason not to work out.

For me, it's been more a product of age. I've always been into video games and computers, but I also played sports, skated everywhere I went, and was even a sponsored snowboarder and instructor for a while. But, yeah, I've been too sedentary lately. Thanks for the reminder to get off my ass. I think I'll go outside today. The weather is gorgeous.

It's true, and there are even non-geek girls who just like geek guys. And for guys who aren't geeks, there's girls into whatever your thing is. Yeah I totally agree. Having the passion is part of it, and learning how to express it as another. Pickup renewed my interest in guitar and making music, and in turn what I've learned about putting on a good performance with my music directly applies to sharing my passions with people in a social setting.
