Who tf knows, depends on the context. Could be she’s interested, could be she’s sketched out, could just be her wrist is bothering her

Insert instances of brief touch, she says something that makes you laugh, you put your hand on her arm/thigh. If you’re out on a date, touch her and point it out. Her hairs out of place, adjust it for her, etc. Openly talk sexually, but not overtly or aggressively. Plant the seeds. Build tension and break physical barriers intentionally. After doing all of that you find a Segway into kissing, whatever works well for you. One I like is just staring at the other person with desire during a break i…

“Emotionally intelligent” seriously? This suggestion conveys a complete and total lack of emotional availability. Do better man

It’s about being confident in your approach style in general; maybe that doesn’t mean being “smooth”, you can still be shy yet still communicate attraction and interest without being, “beta”. Maybe this approach doesn’t land on as many girls who prefer something more direct but that’s okay. You’re meeting yourself where you’re at for now and overtime successful interactions will lead to more genuine, authentic confidence which encourage you to be more direct in future interactions.

This guy pulls. But more importantly gets it. Developing confidence is important for sure but you’ve got to simultaneously lean into who you are as a person. If they’re into you they’ll find it cute in a clumsy way. And particularly in your situation would lead to the best outcome for your friendship should she reject the advance.

I’m sure you do from your perspective but it’s pretty clear we don’t seek the same things

Because most men are unable to understand and process their own feelings, let alone convey them to others. Couple that with a lack of social calibration, wit, or any semblance of a self or personality and you’re fucked, even if you’re a 10/10 with six pack abs.

Lol, your misogynistic view of women will surely find you a fantastic life partner. Carry on sir

Because it turns the person, regardless of whether they’re male or female, from an actual person with a personality, thoughts/fears/desires and ambitions into an object and when you view someone through that lens you interact with them differently than someone whose, “heart” you’re trying to win.

Chick sounds nuts. Alternatively you can believe that there are, REAL, LEGITIMATE, institutional systems of oppression (regardless of “intention”) that affect most demographics besides white males while also not being ashamed of the fact that you are one. It’s called having empathy, but not being a dick.

I saw a therapist about once a month, I read books particularly on depression and mindfulness, and I threw myself into my activities

It just doesn't leave you satisfied imo. I'm sure there are some people out there who have achieved that level of consciousness and have opted to pursue a path of hedonism and I am content to simply disagree with them on a philisophical basis but I think most people on this subreddit are craving something much deeper. A lack of sex is really symbolic for their rejection in the pursuit of companionship which blows. That's a tough pill to swallow, but in reality they need to forget that and realiz…

I'll keep it short fam. Life's not fair, we're all living with different attributes plopped into various landscapes. I struggle with anxiety and depression through my life, introspection can be painful and that it was it needs to be done empathically. That is a virtue that will carry outward in every one of your encounters. This shit sounds corny but if you can't love yourself in a healthy way you've got no business seeking out a relationship, it'll just manifest one way or another. That's the p…

People here wonder why their, “game” is weak. They then blame genes when yet still we see time and time again the men who claim the got good looking and still didn’t have success. It’s because your “inner game” is weak. It’s because you worship false idols, values, & belief systems all the while chasing instant gratification. Maybe if you lusted as hard over having a meaningful life you’d have more luck.

act as if you're going to meet your best friend. Be excited to see them, be happy just to see them but not in an awkward type of way. Act as if you've seen them before, make light small talk about the current environment or whatever shop/park/wherever you are. Ask them how their day is going, from there shortly after you'll be able to thread into much better conversations.
