| 1 | Expectations of friendsIt’s hard to say. I found myself getting really frustrated when I didn’t really hear from my friends and family about the divorce after the first month, but I had to learn to not take it personally. This is a really hard time for you, but people’s lives keep them busy as well. I’d say try to be as independent as you can (obviously if you need something, ask them for it) and focus on gratitude when they do reach out or help out. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/12/23 07:40 AM |
| 1 | How do you cope with the depression?Going through the exact same emotions and timeline as you right now. I’ve been spending a lot of time reinvesting in hobbies I gave up on while married. I’ve also spent a lot of time exercising. I keep having to tell myself that if I’m going to be miserable either way, I might as well paint my warhammer army and run while I’m miserable | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/12/23 07:27 AM |
