Cool story bro.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Your argument might as well have been "Nuh-uh, you are. Feminists were mean to me on the internet. So they're all bad." Your problem, like a lot of people here, is that you don't see the world more than two feet from your own nose. You don't identify with other people, you only see yourself in the men that you read about. Look at MLK's civil rights movement vs the black panthers. Which one effected the most positive change? It's hope for the future that mak…

I read here and my opinion is just as valid as yours. That.said, my point is that I don't see a movement anymore. I see this sub becoming more like what r/atheism used to be. I see a lot of bile and misplaced anger lately. When I first discovered MRA, it opened my eyes to a lot of injustice, and it still does. It made me rethink what it is to be a man in today's society, and I am better for it. I believe this movement is important and we allow it to be debased for entertainment and karma. It rem…

Because too many people in this sub only question thing when it goes against what they want to believe. We're mostly a circle jerk now which is destroying any legitimacy we may have had. Important issues that deserve discussion get drowned out but sensationalist rants like this "article" or facebook comments because it's easier to rant and get mad, than to work for solutions. To most, MRA is just the other side of the coin to the "radical feminism" so many claim to hate, and I'm having a hard ti…

I'm down with that. I wouldn't date any subscribed to men's rights either.

If this is even real, it's not a men's rights issue. It's just fucked up.

Too far away (from America anyway). The government maybe? Rich people? Religion? Corporations creating and then playing on insecurities to make a profit?

"We should all be working together to close gender inequalities for all of us." Doesn't really get the juices flowing as much as "Look at this injustice that happened to us! Attack the other side!". Really though, that's the problem with /r/Feminism and /r/MensRights. They just entrench us in our own camps. Sexism is a real problem on both sides.

Overheat? Come on, they're not out picking cotton. Arriva looks like a bus company so either this guy's a driver or works in an office. Not exactlty sweltering heat capable of frying your plums. I think you're being a bit dramatic.

We're quoting 4chan now? Gives real credibility to this subreddit...

That's also a sublime lyric. There's no context to this post.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
