Not if she's the type of 'friend' I was describing

Best way to handle it. I had a friend like this (I'm female), except she liked the attention focused on her, so whenever an attractive guy would try to hit on me she'd talk his ear off. Bitch would seriously run her mouth faster than you could understand, and speak over me. I'm a competitive person but only over things that matter -- accomplishments, education, etc. I've never competed for a mans attention, so any woman who tries to "steal" a mans attention from me will win by default because I …

Yep. It doesn't matter if I'm alone or with friends, if a guy approaches and I like him I'll talk to him. He doesn't need to try to 'steer' me away from the group. If I don't like him I'll make a little small talk and say "it was nice meeting you" after a bit. My friends and all other women I know are the same. No need to rudely reject someone

I wouldn't worry, you can take all selfies and I doubt most women would care. We just want to know what you look like (so take at least 3). Take one of you at home, one of you at Starbucks, at work with your buddies, etc. I highly suggest joining meetup.com & couchsurfing.com. The former is great for meeting up with people who share your interests, the latter for events organized by fellow members. CS is an international crowd as well and if you're in a big city there are TONS of social mixers. …

The only way I've seen guys successfully pull this off (with me and with friends) is when they were confident and didn't seem to care about rejection, even laughed if they were rejected lol. These type of men don't have a serious demeanor, more fun-loving or easy going. It made them really charming.

It's annoying when guys try to hit on you while you're reading, listening to music, talking on the phone, or engaged in any way. Be aware that you aren't the first to approach her, you're probably the 10th within the hour, and after a while you don't want to keep pausing your music or putting down your book. Most people just want to get on with their day; constantly being interrupted will irritate anyone. I recommend joining a meetup group or an event and making conversation with a woman there. …

Keep the conversation going by asking questions and relating. Talk to be friendly, not to score - it'll reduce your anxiety so you're less inclined to make blunders out of social awkwardness. Also with women it's best to steadily apply pressure to gauge interest (sometimes we're just being friendly) rather than come on strong and forward. I wouldn't ask one if she wants to go back to your place unless she's at least making physical contact, and even then be indirect ("what are you doing after th…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
