I understood OP's point to be that that label 'nice guy' has been misused and more applied to a 'boring guy'. These are OP's descriptive titles of people, not mine. To use OP's titles, one assumes that 'nice guy syndrome' does not necessarily apply to nice people (guys) it more refers to a 'boring guy'. A nice guy can be fun, confident, outgoing, and caring; this is exactly what we look for in men.
